it is a cluster of brick made huts located in front of sea but on a height. Huts are round shaped with wooden roof and without ACs. Size is small as well. being resort huts not many luxuries other thn room and recliners outside. Suitable for couples mainly and not family or business travellers. I was uncomfortable because of the...

Well I travelled from Munnar to Varkala by motorbike, and stayed here for 5 nights to enjoy the new year by the beach. The owner Mr Shiv, was so kind and friendly. He made me breakfast and I stayed in one of the beach huts, which overlooks the Arabian Sea. Amazing views, peaceful and a real gem of a find....

The rooms aren't the cleanest and could do with a dust, but you do have the best view in Varkala, with only a 10 min walk to the more commercial part of the North cliff and nearer the south side better fish restaurants. The staff and owners were amazingly friendly and welcome you as a friend. You could get hung...

I have just read another reference to Sea Parl, and want to give my views: I have off-and-on since 1998 spent 3 weeks at-a-time with Mr. Sviadas and his people at Sea Pearl. And, being a quite exeprienced globetrotter, my opinion is that there are few other venues where you have equal excellent settings for experiencing the place you are...

Awful. Filthy rooms, no breakfast, no air. Just horrible. Lovely location but in general it was horrible. Holes all around the rooms so anything could climb in. No space and only 1 electric facility available. Really dark as well. Staff lovely and view lovely but the upkeep is a shambles. Plus we were well over charged for the stay and...

The sea pearl chalets have a great location and view but the huts are super simple with no A/C which is challenging given the hot and humid weather. It got quite sticky at night as they are very small and you can't keep the windows open. The nicest part was to sit outside early morning and watch the ocean. Overall...

It has minimal rooms but a flexible and good staff. It has the best view of any place in Varkala. The rooms are non-AC which is fine during tourist season in India (Dec-Jan). They usually serve a simple but cheap breakfast. It's all the way on the end of the cliff but not a bad walk and bit more secluded....

Unique location on edge of south cliff. Paid Rs.2000pn between christmas and new year. Reasonable value given time and everything worked. Friendly. Perhaps because I booked months before they gave me Hut No.3, which is about the best located. No aircon however windows open and good breeze. One day No.3 will likely disappear over the cliff so avoid it in...

Stayed here for two nights in April. No air conditioning but great ocean breezes. Very compact rooms but clean, and being able to sit outside and watch the ocean roll in was great. Helpful in arranging a tuk tuk for a very early train.

We were one of two couples at the chalets. The second night we had the place to ourselves. We loved its relatively isolated location...and the mongoose that flitted away after checking us out several times.Mosquito nets were provided and they were needed. The chalet was clean with a fan. We were given extra towels and soap to wash our hair/clothes...
