What a charming hotel. The drive in is spectacular, with the doorman and entry adding the the grandeur of this magnificent building. The hotel and surrounds are simply majestic, with the inside, whilst a little old, handling age well with the simple scale and grace of a wonderful building. The room (on the top floor) had sweeping views of the...

We love the Hotel for its ambiance. Feels like you a staying in a palace of those olden day. Tasty food. Smiling people & very accommodating Hotel manager. For a small deviation in one the services he offered to refund the room charges.

On arrival at this most beautiful of Indian hotels we were not completely satisfied with our room. I returned to the desk to advise this and without hesitation or question our room was changed.Of the two rooms we saw they were a little tired but the remainder of the hotel more than makes up for this. I would question anyone...

This is an splendid real palace re-converted to a beutiful hotel. It keeps an exagerated billiard, and a hunting trophy room with catches from all the British Empire. The facilities such as air conditioning and plumbing, althought working, are not at the expected level.

The friendly, smiley staff are a delight-- across the hotel, whether in Reception, Porter, Housekeeping and in the Restaurant. Special mentions for Surinder Singh, Hukum Singh, Rajiv Tiwari, Rajkumar Singh and their colleagues in the Bar and Restaurant - unobtrusively attentive. Visit the small Museum (small charge) next door for the family's history, told through its photographs, artefacts and written...

This is a real palace, with the maharajah and his family living in one of the wings (not that you ever see them). Thirty or more years ago this must have been a fine hotel, but today the rooms just feel tired and dated.

This hotel just exudes charm in its public face: the drive on the approach; the uniformed doorman, with his splendid Rajasthani whiskers; the stylish, yet intimate, Reception; and the majestic, balustraded courtyard with its al fresco dining option. The food and service in the restaurant were exemplary, as was our greeting on arrival. We did experience problems on checking out,...

Stayed here for two nights with my family. We had a corner ground floor suite which my daughter loved - after we were upgraded, which was very kind of the management.
