Not only was this guest house clean and quiet, which is often hard to find in India, the staff was exceptionally kind. They picked me up at the bus stop at 7 and let me check into my room upon arrival. I had a great experience and would definitely go back.

We stayed here January 2017. The hotel is on the edge of town near Sunset Point and is in a quiet area. It is a 5 minute walk to the town and another 5 minutes, motorcycles permitting, to the fort. All the staff were pleasant and helpful, especially Karim. The owners were very obliging and organised a taxi pickup from...

Lovely hotel with wonderful staff that are very helpful. The owner Lois is very kind and gives great advice on Jaisalmer area. They picked us up free of charge and dropped us off at the bus station helping us organise tickets and finding the correct bus.

They overcharged us by an insane amount. The most we payed in our 6 week trip though India and for Avery average room. There excuse was that it was the same week as Diwali and they were in high demand. Upon arrival it became clear they were NOT in high demand. This I can forgive, it's just a hustle and...

We are sorry you feel this way - we are not a budget hotel and are in the mid range category in Lonely Planet - compared to others in this range we are very reasonable. Diwali week (October 31 - November5) is one of our peak booking weeks and you will find it is common for hotels to raise their...

Desert Moon Guesthouse is a fantastic choice of accommodation outside of the Fort in Jaisalmer. The Guesthouse is beautiful and the rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff are always available to help and even offer pickup and drop off from the bus or train. The owners are so sweet, again helping with rides when ever I needed...

Highly recommended for visitors to Jaiselmer. Very good rooms in quiet location but only ten minutes walk from town. Lovely breakfasts on roof terrace, very friendly and helpful staff. As good as anywhere we stayed in India for comparative price and better than most.

Had a very happy stay here in February 2016 for 3 days. It was comforting to be met at the station, and not have to battle all the auto drivers there! Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The food is excellent, with an excellent chef in charge. The best aloo jeera I have eaten. The staff were very helpful and Lois...

Pre-booked this hotel based on the lonely planet recommendation and absolutely ecstatic that we did. Brilliant communication from the Kiwi part owner who liaised for us and helped us arrange the pick up from the train station. Through fortune we met two groups of other travellers on the train around 10 people who came to the hotel with us on...
