I found out about Deep Mahal when one of their staff met me at the Jaisalmer train station. I didn't regret staying there because they have a an amazing view from their rooftop balcony as well as a good room. Their prices are very affordable and we went on their camel safari as well. If you're going for the safari,...

I found this guest house by chance, as someone suggested me the place and I came straight away as they have a very useful free pick-up at the bus and at the train station. The rooms are great and full of atmosphere, inside the fort and in a typical and beautiful haveli (kind of ancient small city palace - but...

Amazing building- one of the rooms has part of the wall of a jain temple in it! Lovely roof terrace and really friendly atmosphere- the staff make sure all the guests are introduced to each other and everyone hangs out on the roof. Also organise great camel safaris. Ridiculously cheap room prices!

This hostel is a small place inside the Fort, with different nice rooms. They are spacious and we had a bathroom, which was quite big. The rooms are clean and the interior is in a beautiful desert style. Directly next to the hostel is a Jain Temple, which is nice when you see it from the rooftop, but quite noisy...

After several weeks of traveling India, with plenty of experience to aid comparison, deep mahal is by far the best hotel at which me and my wife stayed. The staff are understanding, genuinely helpful people. The room with a view that we had was both rustic/traditional and my wife (who has an interior design streak) was extremely impressed by the...
