I did not stay at this establishment but my wife and I took the camel ride that is offered into the sand dunes. I understand that the Khuri Guest House is one of the primary vendors for camel rides in this very small desert town. Suffice to say that it was an awful ride. The camel driver was nice enough,...

We were on a package trip when our local driver suggested a diversion from our package to visit Khuri instead of Sam Sand Dunes. Unfortunately, we fell into the trap and went to Khuri with him. There we were charged with an exorbitant rate for camel safari which we foolishly undertook. Then we were advised to spend the night there...

We decided to visit Khuri town at recommendation of local people rather than Sam dunes. We were told that sam dunes are quite commercialised and we should rather visit Khuri. We were extremely happy with that decision. Khuri town visit gives you an exotic desert experience that you would want to have in Rajasthan. This particular resort was quite good....

Travelled from Jaisalmer by a Jeep and reached in the early afternoon. The owner of the guest house was kind enough to wait for us to reach and he immediately arranged...

being a first time backpacker to jaisalmer - rajasthan i was not too sure of the overall experience, a rushed plan and traveling during diwali it all added up to some really painful journeys from mumbai to khuri. to be honest i had decided on khuri (the village and not the guest house) as had read some horror stories about...

This was a resort like thing which we visited recently. The manager of this property is quite cunning. None of the package prices are displayed any where in resort. He charges based on customer, charges more to gullible people. The package we took included Dinner, Cultural program, over-night stay in desert (under the stars, he will provide sets of bed...
