Visited the camp in the month of February.This camp tents were neatly maintained and very satisfied with the room quality , staff promptness and dinner served in the common dining hall. If you are travelling to Sam Sand Dunes and looking at Desert Camp, there are plenty of choices, from Basic tent in a barbed wire fence compound to a modern, luxurious cabin surrounded by a colorful compound wall, a grand entrance, a village like set up with a lot of props. Not typical of what you would expect from a Choke Dhani (when you compare with their other resorts), but nonetheless, a good place taking into account the location. Food is reasonable, entertainment is average, but management is poor, beware of the management trying to take extra money on account of single verses double accommodation, they don't have any single tents,...

If you are planning to visit Sam sand dunes please never go to Chowki dhani camp. We had been to Jaisalmer twice. We been there in December 2015 and that was the fabulous experience Therefore we decided to go there in December 2016 also. Thought that Chowki dhani would be good place and we will have the same experience again....

I spent one night in this magnificent desert camp. The place for excited exceeded my expectations in terms of ambiance food and entertainment... The food was awesome. The hosts charming and the entertainment a dream ..we went Camel riding and sliding down dunes,we listened to music and saw dancing that added to the dreamy essence of the place..plenty of places...

I stayed here along with my family recently on dec. for 2 night. this was great experience staying in tent in a desert. food & service were very good. tents were well maintained. staff is also very courteous.

The desert experience was a dream in desert. Welcome was awesome ans check in was so smooth. I haven't seen so dedicated staff in hotel industary. Tents are amazingly awesome with regular hot and cold water. Evening entertainment was great and resort hàve different varities of entertainment. Well i never thought i will end up sleeping in the tent in jaisalmer but tent have hot water good water force, toilets was cleaned, nice tents, night dinner was fantastic perfect entertainment at night with nice lighting and every entertainment stage they have separate campfire.
