There are good and bad hotels everywhere in the world. Some are bad because they don't know any better. Some hotels are just old and tired and in need of a good face lift. But there are just a few hotels that don't care about there clients and think that because they are only part of a package arrangement from...

We stayed in Hotel Kiran Palace for three nights and it is a very average budget hotel. During out time in India we stayed in accommodation that ranged from 1,000 Rs - 2,200 Rs. Of the 8 hotels we stayed in this was one of the worst. In general the staff were nice however the main man on reception was...

Hotel Kiran palace took a little while to win me over, but it got there in the end! The staff were great - office man was a little bland but all the other guys were very friendly and fun. Helped me in right away and made me feel welcome to ask for anything. The room was very basic but did...

I had a nice, spacious room with a nice view of the City Palace. My bed was not the most comfortable one, but that is just me. Towels, toilet papers, soap were provided. The stuff was very helpful and friendly. The view from the roof was nice. One night I had my dinner up in the roof and the city...

One of the worst experiences we had in hotels in India. The bed was hard as a rock, everything was dirty (with actual dirt everywhere), the bedsheets stained, the bathroom looked like a horror movie one, and we were freezing the whole night. As if that weren't enough, the staff was exceptionally rude. My gf asked for toilet paper and...

Good people, ok rooms, responsive staff but really poor food, so dont book for breakfast, rest all is ok. Location is also good wherein you can walk to the city palace through short cut or walk through Jagdish Temple.

When we got to our room we found pubic hair in our bed as well as someone else's, our towels were dirty and there was hair in the shower. Also the water in the toilet and in the shower ran brown. On a positive note the location was good but breakfast was a let down is you have an allergy...

We were firstly shown a small smelly room. I wasn't not pleased and then we were shown I think their best room. A family room on the first floor. It was massive and had heaps of character. It is pretty basic but as expected. The location is good, a 5-10 min walk from city palace. The rooftop has a cool...

A few negative points from our two days in Kiran Palace: 1. The bathroom was poor. It was a strange layout with a toilet at one end, broken shower in the middle that sprayed everything when using it (including toilet roll) and sink at the other far end. Wasted hotel room space! Also the lock was broken. 2. The bedding...

“AC, or no AC, it really doesn't matter. All rooms are extremely airy & have fans. They offer you cheap, medium, or better rooms. Always stick with the Medium. They're on the 2nd floor and are in a perfect spot where the sun doesn't shine through too early or late to wake you. (Some rooms have very thin, to no curtains!)”
  • Rooftop views of the City Palace.
