If you are looking to unwind from the bustling noise and the fast paced life of the city, a weekend getaway of sorts, then Bison Country, Coonoor is the place to be. The location is excellent, overlooking a mountain, surrounded by plush green tea estates that meets the eye as layered green carpets everywhere. They have rooms and the cottages...

Disappointed with the service and overall attitude of the place. There was absolute no hospitality in the way this resort is operated. We were left alone to fend for ourselves, no one to even hail a cab for us...so bad that we didnt even bother asking for a refund for a days short stay...even booking it was like tenter hooks...no...

We booked this place around 11pm at night, and they had home-like food ready for us by 12. Amazing food.. you'll certainly miss your mom, specially if you are a north Indian living far from family! The rooms and the washroom were tidy and hygienic. The staff was helping and jolly. The homestay isn't a luxary one but it is...

This place is exactly what you need if you are looking for a break for your routine - peaceful and relaxing. The staff here are warm and welcoming, the rooms are well maintained, the food is good. When we lost our way from the station, Saravanan was kind enough to give us a lift. He also arranged for a sightseeing....

Outstanding experience! The staff is very friendly and helpful, often go out of the way to make sure you are having an awesome time. The fireplace, the music system and the view of the reserve forest was just out of the world! (best part was its just a couple of drive away from Coimbatore) We were a group 6 and...

Starting right from Booking to check-out, got a feel of confusion. The rooms/cottages are good but lacks maintenance, staff response is slow, bathrooms/carpets are old, unclean, the moment you share a feedback with the staff they come up with a lame 'The Colonel doesn't invest in this property'. Though they made the extra bed, and one dinner complimentary, still couldn't...

It is a place away from the commercials. If one has vehicle it is not an issue visiting the important spots around. The view from the home stay is awesome. We had good food and experienced good hospitality.

If you want a relaxing weekend, away from the commercial Ooty zone make sure you book this place. Amenities and location are amazingly awesome. We went there with 3 families and 5kids (<5yrs old ) requested management to organize a birthday party for 1year old. Saravanan made sure he brings the best cake ( Cake is soooo yummy and personally...

We had a great stay at Bison Country. One of the biggest pluses of this place has to be its location. Surrounded by hills and located in a tea estate, the stay at the property was memorable. Would surely recommend this place to all who want some time-off and enjoy in the lap of nature!

We stayed there for 6 days. Me, my mom dad and my 2 dogs. A nice place to stay if you are planning to take your dogs with you as well. I felt that it is better to stay here rather than in Ooty coz when we went to Ooty it was just like living in a crowded place. This...
