We spent a weekend at this property after a friend's recommendation. Its a quiet and rustic place hidden in the mountains. Its a place where you could pick up a book and chill out amidst nature listening to the chirping of birds. They do have their own collection of books, a snooker table and fussball. The view from the cottages...

We found Acres Wild to be an awesome place to spend a lovely and quiet family time at. We stayed at 'Kolbi', a well appointed cottage overlooking the Nilgiri mountain range, tea gardens and a lush valley. Weather was very pleasant and so were the hosts Tina and Mansoor. Staff was warm and helpful. Food was just like home(better than...

Visiting the cowshed and having a go at milking the cows was a wonderful experience. Learning to make cheese in the wonderful environs of Acres Wild, under the expert guidance from Tina was such fun. Mary, who has been assisting Tina in the day to day cheese production, was such a help. Meals were basic and yummy, lovingly prepared by...

We (my husband and I) had a wonderful stay at Acres Wild. The property is beautiful and nicely done up. The staff is very friendly and always eager to help. We booked the Colby Cottage, which is a little further from the main hotel area. The best part about this property is the view and the location - not too...

So glad we did because Mansoor and Tina were such great hosts. They'd host us for breakfast and dinner on most days during our stay and we had such fun conversations. They...

The Property is though remote yet close to the city centre. We stayed for 2 nights at the Cheddar Cottage with Family which included 2 senior citizens. The experience was relaxing and one of its kind. The visit to the cowshed was very intriguing for my 6 year old son as was the visit to the Cheese making unit which churns...

We had a relaxing time during our stay there. My kid bonded with Spotty, the farm dog and was very sad to leave her behind. We the adults enjoyed the simple yet delicious meals. The cheese course was a thoroughly enjoyable and enlightening experience.
