A calming interval when travelling in busy India. Gaj was a wonderful enthusiastic guide who could identify even small creatures from a great distance. I would recommend the river cruise and we also enjoyed the camel ride to the fort which was quite deserted - even managed some Christmas Day cricket with the locals! A walk through the village was...

A small village located in the Agra district, it is famous for its 101 hindu & jain temples located on the banks of the Yamuna River. A site seldom visited by foreign tourists but an attraction to the locals especially during the annual festival where the sleepy village becomes a hub of religious activities. My visit to the site was...

We stayed in tented camp in self contained accommodation for the UP Bird Fair which was an exciting event. The facilities of the lodge were excellent and the safari trips were well organised. The hospitality was very good and friendly.

This safari Lodge is lovely. Its not really a safari lodge offering safaris as such, more like nature trails seeing local "small wildlife", birds, plants and local life. The bungalows are lovely and clean, with large bathrooms and ours had a small private garden. The hosts are welcoming and very freindly. The only drawback was lunch, although this was tasty...

We spent two nights here but probably wished we had stayed an extra day, because of the long journey here and the state of the roads! However, once we had arrived, we were in for a real treat. The rooms are beautifully appointed and we liked the public areas around the lodge. We also like the wildlife which roamed through...

Its history and the resurrection of the lodge is very off beat and interesting too. The rooms, the cleanliness maintained is unquestionably very very good. Food : thumbs up for both the quality and quantity served( actually buffet). People around are like always ready to help. Various safaris like Black buck, Sarus, Chambal river are all so serene. Naturalist was...

We stayed 2 nights here at the start of our Rajasthan tour. The cottages were very comfortable and well equipped. Food was tasty and plentiful. We thought drinks were overpriced but paid even higher prices elsewhere so it seems to be a Rajasthan thing rather than the lodge. We did the river trip which was excellent although we didn't see...

Just two hours from Agra this peaceful lodge offers a selection of safaris with wildlife and cultural themes. The staff are helpful and attentive, my wildlife guide was very knowledgeable and worked hard to ensure that the I got good views all the time. Set in well wooded grounds and surrounded by farm land many fauna species can be seen...

This wonderfully tranquil lodge is set in beautiful grounds surrounded by countryside. The staff are warm and friendly and feel as if they are all one big happy family. The proprietors too are warm and relaxed making one feel immediately at home. Our room, classed as a cottage was spacious and rustic complete with pet gecko. We would love to...

This place has just one thing. They arrange Chambal river Safari for you. Besides that, there is little reason to visit this property. The rooms are overpriced for the quality. They are not clean and maintained. The staff is not properly trained though they try to help to their best ability. Food was just average with little to look forward...
