The hotel is right on the ManMandir Ghat.Deluxe rooms have good view of the river. Good service, rooms are clean, well maintained. Few things to be aware of. They have stopped serving non-veg food and alcohol due to some restriction imposed by the government. They do not have any elevator (probably most of the hotels in this area do not...

Experience was real bad. No restaurant, no bar and terrible room service. I stayed there for two days in November with my wife. Charging Rs 7000 for a tiny river view room is ridiculous. Yes, location is good..... and that is about it. You have to lug your luggage half of Kilometer away. Air conditioning and hot water Gyser hardly...

No one can deny that this guesthouse is perfectly located. You simply can't ask for a better access to the Ganga River. There are however too many negatives about my stay here. It is true that you can't access the guesthouse by car. You will be dropped about 500 meters away and will need to walk through the market and...

Stayed 2 days in March. Can't drive to the hotel, so must drag your bags a couple of blocks, then wind through some filthy alleys. Had to walk up 6 flights of stairs. Had view of ghats, which turned out not so good as there was constant chanting and drumming all night long. Only scalding hot water in shower. Guys...

Right on the ghats and close to the evening Aarti, this hotel does not disappoint. It's simple and basic but has all that you would need. The restaurant was undergoing renovations so breakfast was served in the hotel foyer. Lovely masala tea. Would visit again.

We stayed in the deluxe river side room the 1st night and switched to the standard double room for our 2nd and 3rd nights. Although the river view room was nice, it was not worth paying over twice the rate than the standard double. The standard double room got the job done, however our window looked straight into the side...

40 steps up from the Ganges, this mediocre hotel is all about location. From our room one could look out onto the Ganges. The breakfast was delivered from somewhere else. The small room was clean, but aside from wifi, it had limited appointments. The bathroom was not at all modern. And in the winter, the room was cold. Alongside this...

An amazing location right on the riverside! That's really the biggest plus. We had a very small and basic room, without a decent window or view. So you should probably specify this in any room request. Service is overal friendly, but we did feel someone of the staff was a bit arrogant. Could be our impression. The restaurant 'the Dolphin'...

The guesthouse is nice and on a good location. What it is missing right now is a roof terrace. It is closed for renovation and it does not look that it will open soon. The restaurant is also closed. A minimal breakfast is served down in the lobby. We decided to have our breakfast on the roof terrace of a...

Great location on the ghats, close to the evening Aarti ceremony. No elevator due to older historical building and inability to retro-fit. Small rooms but refurbished and clean. 24 hour hot water with good pressure. Small but adequate breakfast buffet. Helpful staff that accommodated requests for additional bottled or hot water. Great view from the rooftop deck. Somewhat overwhelming initial...
