Stayed for three days in Oct. Rooms were clean and dinner was great. The owners weren't there but everything ran smoothly and I would happily stay again. The garden and outdoor area is also nice to sit an relax in.

Located in a spiritual area along Rajpur Rd. this lovely place makes for a wonderful Guesthouse for a stopover should you be traveling north or south. The teak wood furniture reminded me of Thailand. The rooms are basic and sufficient, good food and excellent host. The Garden and Temple are just lovely and great for early morning walk. Some new... More

My sister and I stayed with Renee and Jaint for one night after a long drive from Delhi. We stayed in the rustic forest room. A basic room, however fulfilled our needs. Dinner was freshly cooked and delicious. Our hosts company at dinner was exceptionally informative and inspiring. Renee showed us around her well tended garden and gave us two... More

I stayed at this guesthouse while going to Kalap and on the way back. Renee is very friendly and i felt as if i was visiting a cousin's home. The discussions about life at the dinner table and people i met there were amazing. If you are with a family or single traveler going for pilgrim or trek, this is... More

Srikrishna guest house is a quaint art deco style bungalow with white terrazzo floors and old teak furniture. Located on Rajpur road, surrounded by lush gardens and lawns, the property has a thickly wooded hill to the back. If your room opens this side (which is quieter), you could wake up to unusual bird calls in the morning. The sun... More

I stayed at this guest house for a week with my parents. The hosts both, Renee and Jaint were really hospitable and warm the entire time. My parents being senior citizens were wonderfully treated with utmost care and they were made very happy and satisfied with all their needs. Staying with the locals, philosophising over dinner and getting tips for... More

The Krishna Guest House is a home away from home. We are always enjoying to stay with Renee and Jaint, when we are in Rajpur and Dehradun for the last 15 years. A perfect place to stay and relax at the foothills of the Indian Himalaya. The food is very food and home cooked, so that you get the real... More

I along with my family (20 people) planned a trip to Dehradun in June. We were overwhelmed by the way in which the owners of this absolutely spectacular and beautiful property, made our stay so memorable. The food, the comfort, the location of the house, Ramu kaka's undying services, the interaction with the owners was all superb and made for... More

We stayed at Renee and Jayant's guesthouse for two days after a lovely trip to the Kumaon region. After experiencing the calmness in Mukteshwar we were dreading the chaos of Dehradun. Thanks to Renee and Jayanat and their lovely guesthouse, our lovely and calm holiday continued and we had a lovely time in Dehradun. Our selection is always based on... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Krishna Guest house in Rajpur, Dehradun, is a bed and breakfast, but really more like a home stay since we reside here with the family. Situated on the edge of the forest it has breathtaking views. We strive for cleanliness, and give it a personal touch. We are located right across the street from Sakya Center, a very important destination for Buddhists. Only an hour's drive to Mussoorie a one and a half hours to Rishikesh makes it a great base to relax and plan your short trips. We can arrange taxis for sightseeing. There are some nice restaurants nearby and meals are provided on request. ... more   less
