This is the second of three hotels I stayed in Kuta over a three week period, This one has a great pool, the best out of the 3 hotels, It is however shaded through out the day due to being surrounded by the apartments and greenery, Breakfast is at best average, you want bacon? it is available at extra cost,... Nice little budget Hotel just off the bustle of dirty Poppies 1. The Pros: Rooms clean & large, staff helpful, lovely clean refreshing pool (noisy if kids in it as sound echoes), feels safe once inside, large fridge, flat screen TV (very few channels - mostly Indonesian), breakfast adequate , fresh & tasty with eggs done any way, toast, fruit,... Good place to stay in Kuta if you are on a budget. We stayed in the standard room on the first floor. The rent was IDR 350,000/~USD 27 per day. The hotel is on Popies Lane I, just opposite to Asana Agung Putra hotel. or near Kuta Town House (in case if you can't find it on the map). Pros:... More

This is really a hidden gem: a haven of peace in the middle of hectic Kuta (in a side lane of Poppies I; once you're inside, you hear nothing of the craziness all around, so a good sleep is guaranteed), ideal to recover from the jetlag and to adjust to the tropical climate or just to relax for a few... Secret Garden is a very secluded safe area of Poppies 1 and right beside Asana hotel (also good). There are only 38 rooms on 3 floors, all surround the 2 metre deep pool. Great if you want a little seclusion before hitting the shops. Everything is close by.

The Secret Garden is a basic, cheap hotel in the center of Kuta on Poppies Lane 1. The rooms are basic bit clean and tidy. The shower is pitiful with up to a 10 minute wait for hot water and when it comes it is scolding hot but alas the flow of both the hot and cold water is but... More

Lovely staff, clean rooms, nice breakfast, good air conditioning, fantastic pool. Hotel Marigold! Great location and terrific prices for a family. A must, our kids swam at the pool and then had great surfing lessons with Dedy. We have already booked our return.

The staff at secret garden where all great! Some with very little English but still tried their absolute best to ensure we where happy with our stay! The location is straight of Poppy's lane, very busy and touristy but that's what most tourists like myself like. We had an excellent stay with 20 of us there!

We stay at Secret Garden regularly. The rooms are clean, staff are very friendly and the AC is very effective! The pool is lovely and the breakfast is good too. Only things that aren't extra fantastic are the bathrooms (they are clean, but just a bit run down).

Myself and my friend stayed at SGI in Kuta for three nights two before and one after heading to Gili T. The pool is an oasis surrounded by beautiful trees in the centre of the hotel complex. The rooms were always clean and very well kept. A/C and Fan worked perfectly as well as a nice bathroom. Desks and chairs... More
