This restaurant features a buffet of Indonesian food and is totally teeming with tourists, but if you are touring this area, it is a handy place for lunch. However, the view from the patio is amazing! Rice terraces, jungle, mountains..... Bring your camera, eat quickly, and then walk around to enjoy the grounds and the wonderful views!

My guide took us after visiting nearby temples. The food is average (all you can eat buffer) but the view of the rice field is really wonderful. The staff was friendly. It's a resort and restaurant, but I know nothing about the hotel.

Our taxi driver brought us here at lunch time while we were touring temples in east Bali. It looked gorgeous and the views of rice fields were breathtaking. Perfect place to sit and have lunch...(that's what I thought). But the sun was scorching, flies were a menace and the buffet lunch was really really average. Not worth the price at...

This is a tourist-magnet, a huge enterprise with wonderful views, but worth a stop, at least for me in the rainy season. Not only was the drive spectacular, but I liked having so many of the traditional foods there for direct sampling. It's an all-you-can-eat buffet, with free tea and coffee for 100,000 Irp, so find a table near the...

Sure, the view is good (if it's not cloudy on the volcano, which apparently it is, a lot) - but you can see rice paddies from pretty much everywhere, and the volcano too (it's pretty big, after all) - you don't need to come here for that, and there's nothing else (food, atmosphere) to come for - plus it's not...

We stopped for lunch at Mahagiri Resort on our way back from Mount Batur. It is situated in a beautiful setting with the most spectacular view of Mount Agung and the rice terraces below it. They only serve a buffet meal at lunch time. The food was average and expensive. However, the view makes up for it so I would...

Came here for lunch prior to rafting and visiting the nearby Besakih temple. The views from the dining tables are stunning. You can see terraced rice fields in all directions. Buffet all-you-can-eat is 100.000 Rupias (about 6.5 Eur). Quality is OK, could be improved, but great value for the moeny. Asian food, lots of fruits. Drinks around 25,000/40,000 including beer....

We went here for lunch in the middle of a tour with a private guide. The buffet was very reasonable with a good selection of foods, well cooked. The views from the terrace were fabulous, with rice fields spreading out below with a small farmhouse nestling in the valley. Great for pictures. Worth the visit.
