We had to wait almost a whole hour after 2pm to check into our rooms because cleaning staff took too long. After a long trip, not being able to rest in our rooms was hard to accept. Also, the room had many cockrouches. It is out of line with other hotels in Bali where rooms on a similar price come basic amenities like a little fridge or wall plug universal adapters. The training room is also very basic. The location of the hotel was okay, the only thing I enjoyed was the room service at no extra charge. Won't be returning.

Hotel well located but not worthy of its 4 star status. Friendly staff. Clean but narrow rooms and very poorly soundproofed. I could hear noises coming from the 2nd bedroom after mine. Same for the traffic noise coming from the road making my sleep very difficult. Too much noise in the corridors. Breakfast with little choice. No choice of continental breakfast other than omelettes. Affordable prices and good cuisine at the hotel restaurant. Fairly mixed experience at the spa. I won't come back.

The hotel is very cheap but great value for money. The staff are wonderful, the food is amazing, it’s overall a very pleasant stay. Location isn’t perfect but what do you expect for this price. You can save a bundle staying here and still enjoy yourself. You’ll have money left for other things. Go for it!

I am extremely disappointed by my stay at this Pension. Here are some examples of unacceptable and disrespectful actions by the staff, who do not deserve their four stars.

Difference in treatment and unacceptable restaurant service:

One evening, we arrived at the Pension restaurant at 10:10 p.m., when it officially closed at 10:30 p.m. We were refused dessert because the kitchens closed at 10.30pm. However, to our surprise, a white man who arrived at the same time was greeted without problem, and his order was taken immediately. He ordered a main course, proof that the kitchens were still open at the time. This situation is not only unacceptable but also discriminatory. We have been treated with total disrespect.

Lack of professionalism and unacceptable staff behaviour:

At another meal, someone in our group asked three times that their meat be cooked in their burger. On the third attempt, he was brought back literally charred meat. What is even more shocking is that we saw several restaurant staff laughing at the situation as if they were waiting for our reaction. This is not only a lack of professionalism, but also inhuman behaviour. When we reported this to a waitress, she simply told us that well cooked meat had been requested, but grilled does not mean well cooked. Another waiter came, tried to explain the same thing, and even laughed twice in front of us, as if he found the situation amusing. When we asked this waiter if he could eat this meat literally burned, he said yes.

3.Immmature and poorly trained personnel:
The staff of this Pension seems barely of age, if not totally minor. They clearly lack the professionalism and maturity to handle such situations. We would have hoped that a responsible, mature and truly adult person would take charge of this situation, but this was not the case.
For our first time in Bali, this Pension was a huge disappointment. We have travelled a lot and had the chance to stay in different hotels and in different countries, and we think this property definitely does not deserve its four stars. We deeply regret choosing this Inn for our stay.

What a disappointment.

The hotel room was a standard room that you would expect anywhere in the world. The staff on the other hand went above and beyond to make my stay a memorable one . I was a solo traveller 58 years old and from the moment I walked in the door I felt like a queen .

With my sisters and friends, we had dinner at the Pension restaurant. I ordered a burger specifying that I wanted a "well cooked" cooking for the minced steak. Unfortunately, the steak was not cooked as I had asked. I have therefore repeatedly asked that it be well cooked. When the waiter returned my dish, to my surprise, the steak was charred. You can see for yourself the condition of the steak. We were all shocked by this lack of respect. The steak was inedible. How can one serve such a dish to customers? The staff, very immature, seemed to enjoy making fun of the situation. This is not the first time we have seen this kind of drift. This Pension definitely does not deserve its 4 stars. I travel a lot and would not recommend this Pension. He's on the run. Besides, I only had to pay for my dessert, because they removed the charred dish from the bill, proof that the dish was inedible.

Sorry about the unpleasant review. My family and I have been staying at this hotel very often. The facilities and hygiene of the hotel were incredible, which made me and my family comfortable, and the incredible staff of the staff in the cider by the staff of a restaurant named NOVI who, in my opinion, had a disrespectful way of talking. Even after I made the payment at the restaurant, this NOVI approached me to the receptionist with a language that I thought was rather challenging, "Mom, what's wrong with me?"
I'd be more polite with people who could treat me polite.
It happened on January 4, 2025 when I'm going to check out.
This review is not to drop the Crystal Kuta Hotel, but to correct one part of the missing Crystal Kuta Hotel.
Thank you.

I am currently at the Crystal Kuta Inn for a few more days.

Pros: The entrance hall is pretty, and the pool too. The staff on the floors are smiling and polite.

Breakfast: there is not much choice but it is okay.

Cons (there are many):

Chamber: Soundproofing is non-existent, there is a bad smell of moisture, and sheets are not changed unless requested.

Wi-Fi: I am always looking for Wi-Fi network...

Kitchen staff and restaurant waiters (evening): The word “professionalism” is obviously not part of their vocabulary, except for one or two servers.
I say that it is not all the staff!

Restaurant: A real disappointment!

There is a difference in treatment between clients.

For example, I arrived at the same time as another client just before closing. We were both set up by a waiter, but a few seconds later a manager informed me that the kitchens were closed. I asked him if that was even the case for dessert, and he said yes.
So I got up to leave, but I saw that the server (the one who had installed me) took the order from the other client who arrived at the same time as me.
I called the manager to see why this other customer was being served when he told me the kitchens were closed.
His answer: "I'm sorry, yes, the kitchens are open, it's a mistake, you can settle."
Obviously, I did not stay, because that is a lack of respect. Had I not made the point, the kitchens would have been closed for me only.

Maybe it was my appearance that was a problem...

Moreover, this is not the first time I have had problems with the Pension restaurant.

Yesterday, for example, I had dinner with my sisters and friends. My sister had to ask twice that her steak be cooked properly in her burger (not bleeding).
At the second request, the steak came back grilled to the point of being inedible!
Even a dog couldn't eat such a burnt steak, but a waiter laughingly claimed it was eatable.
This situation amused the cooks, who were watching my sister's reaction, as well as the waiters who were also laughing.

Anyway, I won't be dining at this Pension anymore, because next time they might spit in my dish, given the immaturity of the kitchen staff and some waiters.

If the cooks present on the evening of August 20, 2024 do not know how to cook a steak properly, let them take cooking lessons.

Moreover, if a dish in this state can be served to a customer, I dare not imagine what other dishes can contain...

A person from the management, Adil or Ajik Gus, refused to leave his office. When he finally left his office, he pretended to be on the phone ignoring us, although he was perfectly aware of the situation.

No excuses were made by the management or by the cooks, who continued to laugh in the morning (especially the youngest cook).

I would not recommend this Inn.
Ps: Respect should be for everyone!

If you care about cleanliness, DO NOT book this hotel. Sheets were dirty, basin drain is clogged, floors are dirty especially under the bed (a previous guests receipt was still on the floor when I checked in), lots of dirt behind night stands, dirty bedding, cob webs in bathroom, taps have build up of lime scale and lots more!!! I complained and the front office gentleman just said that they will get a different guy to clean my room.⁶

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in after c19. The hotel is strategically located close to the airport and just across Krisna by 2. Of course this hotel is the best option in Bali especially last day.
At an affordable price, we got a good bfast service, an atmosphere in the resto that merged with a swimming pool and an asri.
While staying here, his staff quickly handled his check-in process. Thank you for the hospitality of Sinta & Mas Adrian. Its so fast. 😍
Then got a nice room and again got a surprise from staff room attandant Eka dana & Lisna who fixed the room before we returned to the hotel the next day.
It was the best experience during our visit to Bali.
Economic price, excellent services.
