100% everything. Well worth staying. Warm welcoming and friendly staff that couldn't do enough to make our stay first class. The concierge Danu/Verona that went over and above to ensure our 10yr wedding anniversary was special. Each and every staff member (too many to list) made us feel special and loved like family! Special mention to Sari from the de Bale lounge and bar. She looked after us, ensuring we enjoyed our cocktails and catered to our needs. Such a beautiful person inside and outside! Will miss evervone! Thank you to each and every one of you. Saying good bye was the hardest thing to do especially when we were getting into the car to leave. We felt and were treated like royalty, it was an honour to see so many of our beautiful new friends lined up side by side to wave goodbye. We are so blessed to have stayed and spent time in such a magical resort and with all these beautiful people. 5 star ⭐️

My husband and I recently stayed at the resort, and though we mostly loved our stay, we did run into a few issues. Here are the highlights of what we loved: 1. The hotel recently underwent a two-year renovation, and you can tell everything is spotless and fresh. Check-in was seamless and very welcoming. We were walked to the room by an amiable staff called Sweety. 2. Our" "lagoon view"" room was beautifully clean, modern, spacious, and tastefully decorated, with a view of a picturesque lagoon. 3. The pools were incredible, the best part of this resort, with a variety to choose from. It felt like we discovered a new one every other day. The design of the pools is also beautiful because you can quickly go from the pool, past the gorgeous cabanas and straight into the ocean. The well-maintained grounds were lush and green. 3. The spa services were good, and the therapists were excellent. We had a couples massage on our first visit and another massage on another day. However, there was an incident which I'll discuss later. 4. The stunning KUL KUL beach club offered terrific views of the bay. The first day was perfect as we lounged by the infinity pool on a daybed, gazing at the ocean and drinking cocktails. We loved it so much that we rented one of the four large daybeds on four days. All staff there were friendly, with special mention to Meitha, Purna, Anyar. 5. The restaurants and bars were excellent. We tried them all, except for The Cornerstone, which had an impressive wine collection. We ate at Arwana restaurant several times. It was great for dreamy lunches and balmy dinners, while KUL KUL had a relaxed atmosphere with more casual food. The Bale Bar and Lounge served the best cocktails in the resort (we tried all the venues). We highly recommend going during happy hour for drinks and live music. The staff there, Arminian and Aprin were just so friendly. Overall, the food (except breakfast) at the various restaurants was so good that we dined at the resort almost every day and night, except for one day when we visited the sister property at the Ritz for a fine dining experience, which was also excellent. 6. The hotel is conveniently located, just a 10-minute walk along the beach to Bali Collection. However, only some things were perfect, and the hotel fell short in some areas. Despite being a 5-star Luxury hotel, we felt that the hotel could have offered an authentic luxury experience, especially given the nightly rate (we paid $585 pn). These are the reasons why; 1. Service Incidents: We experienced some incidents that raised concerns about safety and privacy. Staff entered our room on the second day without knocking or announcing themselves. One hotel staff opened the door to our room on the second day without knocking or announcing themselves. I was shocked to see him at the door, with a direct view into the bathroom I was in. Although I was fully clothed and blowdrying my hair, I felt extremely uncomfortable and shocked. We raised this issue with the concierge, who apologised and promised to speak to the staff. After that, we noticed staff making more of an effort to ring the doorbell and announce themselves. The next day, before our couples spa service, I had another alarming experience. While I was in the ladies change room where you have a shower or use the sauna/steam room, a male staff member entered without properly announcing himself. He did a perfunctory knock and entered a second later. There was not even a second or me to respond. Fortunately, I was in a robe, saved by my paranoia and the discomfort from the previous day. I was rattled by this experience and could not relax during my massage. This was reported again, and this time, we spoke to a different manager, Verina, who apologised and offered to give us day beds for the next 4 nights we had left. We didn't use them that whole time as we preferred renting the day beds at KUL KUL bar. She also offered to have our room cleaned and turned down during the time windows we specified for the rest of our stay to alleviate my anxiety about staff entering our room unannounced. This schedule was only followed for one day, unfortunately. I genuinely appreciate the manager's help and the colleagues she involved to help our stay feel more comfortable, but I didn't feel comfortable in our room after those two incidents and the lack of keeping to the times we agreed to have the room serviced. 2. Breakfast: Despite the hotel not being at fullcapacity during our stay, the service at breakfast could have been more consistent. Staff seemed overwhelmed when the restaurant got busier, and we often had to wait for coffee orders or water. If you want good service, go at 8am. By 9 a.m., you will wait a while to get a coffee order or water on the table. In-Room Amenities: While the room had a comfortable bed and lovely decor, the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner could have been better, which was disappointing for a luxury hotel. I don't pack these items when I stay at a luxury hotel as they are usually excellent quality and sufficient for a short stay. 3. Soundproofing: The room lacked adequate soundproofing, causing disturbances from neighbouring guests, particularly a family with young children staying next to us during our last two nights. We were up at 5/6 a.m. from the noise both nights. 4. Events: The hotel hosted events on three out of the six days we stayed, which were disruptive. I have never stayed at a hotel with so many events. These events obstructed ocean views and interfered with the use of resort facilities. On occasion, in particular, it took an entire day to set up on the beach, so there was also noise on top of daybeds being moved to make room for the setup. And as I mentioned before, the beach/ pool area is the best part of this resort. I would say book a refundable rate, call up just before your refund date lapses, and ask the hotel to disclose events because it will interfere with your holiday, especially if you like sea views. Our stay was a mix of positive experiences and disappointments, and we wished for a more consistent and luxurious experience, especially considering the hotel's star rating and pricing.

Myself, 2 children and family went to the bar along the Laguna Beach for a drink. It was beautiful the scenery was spectacular and the setting and atmosphere was beautiful, stylish and modern. The best part of our stay there would have to be the waiter Enrico! He was amazing! Super funny, happy and he took our children under his wing- he took them to show them the bar tenders, he was playing with them making sure they felt super comfortable! Absolutely brilliant! 😀😀

Our first visit to Langua and it was amazing. From check in....the welcome was lovely.Staff friendly and very helpful. The offer of a cool juice and a fresh cool towel was very much appreciated. We were assisted to our room and an explanation of where breakfast is served and other very helpful advice given. The room was spacious, spotless and the bed and quality bed linen was perfect after a long flight and shower. Dining in the resort was excellent, breakfast amazing and each member of staff at Banyubiru were so pleasant and did everything to ensure we had everything we reqiured . Lunch and dinner was again excellent at Arwana, food excellent and service great. We always stay in 5 * hotels and this was certainly up there as one of the best.

Wow what a place. We spent 7 days here and it's a beautiful resort. It's a large complex, yet it really didn't have the sense of being crowded and busy. Far from it, you can always get a sunbed either on the beach or by the pool. We preferred the pool (one of six lagoon pools) which are cleared constantly by a member of staff of the falling petals from the landscaped gardens surrounding them, and the gardens I have to say are simply beautiful. We had a deluxe room (256), which had a lovely view but we found the room and balcony quite small but very well maintained, in fact the whole resort is spotless. We arrived with fresh fruit and local patisserie's in the room, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was a global feast - English/Asian/you name it and as much as you can eat and of a high quality. This hotel is about as far South as you can get, so if you're looking to go site seeing in or around Ubud, you're a good drive away as the traffic between the two places is pretty manic. The grounds are simply beautiful and it's a very peaceful resort. There's entertainment between five and seven at the bar (low key, relaxing) where you can buy one get one free between these hours prior to dinner if you wish. The stand out here apart from the totally calm feel and beauty of the hotel, is the staff. Just lovely people and they tolerated my attempts at speaking in Balinese (Thank you all!) A big mention to all of the following who helped our stay at the resort so special. Rohan Aprin Sweety Armini Addie Desak (the best Masseuse I've ever had a massage from! You must have a Balinese massage from her, it's pure Heaven!) All the girls in the Spa are lovely. There are others that whose names unfortunately I can't remember, but they really are the best staff at this resort. Lovely people. I can't recommend this resort enough. Thank you to all the staff at the hotel for making our stay so special and if I return to Bali, I'll definitely see you again. Suksma. xxx

We stayed here for 4 nights with my husband, moving from W Seminyak, where we spend another 4 nights. Area is very nice and green with many swimming pools, waterfalls and bridges. Funny chickens are running around the resort. Hotel is for relaxing and quiet vacation for couples or vacation with kids. If you want drive and party you would better choose Seminyak or Kuta. Entrance to the ocean is smooth with sand and no waves, but mind the low tides may occur depending the season/ time of the day. Breakfast is good with variety of different cuisine, including sushi, Asian buffet and ice cream. However, during the high season it’s quite busy and little bit crowded. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We had an issue with air conditioner and lack of sunbeds due to business event in the hotel, but everything was solved immediately. As a compliment we received big sunbed with cocktails and fruits from General Manager Antonio and were really pampered by the staff. In the room we got a fruit basket and flowers, it was very nice. Be ready for higher humidity compared to other parts of Bali.

The Resort is simply wonderful. The pools are countless and simply splendid! There is a pool in almost every single area of the Resort. On top of this, some have salted water and even sand beaches! Incredible indeed! The rooms have been recently refurbished with outmost care and look gorgeous! The public areas are also superbly furbished showing all the character that a Luxury Hotel should have in beautiful Bali! All the lifts and toilets had air conditioning which is a superb detail that only a few resorts have, but that shows the outmost care that the hotel makes in every single area to make it perfect! I would like to highlight the “Kul Kul Beach Club” that offers great food, a nice pool and a leisure ambient, quite relaxing and in line with a stunning holiday. Although the hotel has now a few years since it first opened, you will rarely notice this during your holiday. Actually, this is an advantage as you can now profit from the indulging vegetation which shows native trees and plants from Indonesia. The service was always great, although here and there were a few let-downs that the management promptly amended, meaning that we never felt anything negative, which is all you need on a luxury holiday. A special word for Mr. Yosua Yossi, who positively assisted us, making our stay a remarkable one! A word also to the nice lady at Concierge, who unfortunately we do not remember her name, but that really helped us during our stay! A final note regarding the beach which is great among the Nusa Dua beaches. It was always clean and there were always available Sun Loungers! In fact, you never notice that the hotel is crowded as there are countless pools, plus the beach, which takes away that crowded feeling we often have on our August Holidays! A dream holiday in sum!

A beautiful, classy hotel with stunning surroundings and exceptional service and attention to detail. The lagoon access rooms were fabulous, as were the comfort of the rooms. The Awana restaurant was the perfect choice for a relaxing dinner and all the staff were very attentive. A big thanks goes to Rahadi for making the evening of my birthday special. The spa was a real treat and the 90 minute signature massage was a dream.
