After reading and reading lots of reviews about this place and others' I took a chance and booked with a grain of salt. I knew what I was getting in 50/50 chance with all mixed reviews. Finally, I booked for the location and let go...More
Friendly staff. Dated rooms but good enough and clean. Great location to be. We will stay there again. Its right on the beach and close to lovely cafes and a handy deli. The restaurant and food are good and a lovely spot to breakfast looking...More
Not a bad location but desperately in need of renovation, stayed in Royal Joglo which was large and clean but very dated, outdoor bathroom nice but needs reno and water flow in shower poor. Staff promptly catered to any problems eg. blown light bulb etc....More

I would say the " family villa " is fine inside but I guess you have to ask yourself: " Do I want to sit on the beach and hear boom, boom, boom music from the place directly next door ? " I agree that the place next door dominates the beach etc. I would never stay there again due to the new place next door
( didn't know there was building going on when I booked ), but also the food was mediocre & hot water was a problem. I am a frequent visitor to Bali and like Sanur (never go to Legian, Seminyak and certainly not Kuta ! ) but there are also better beach spots in Sanur- Besaki Hotel for example where I have also stayed. Really like Swastika Bungalows, whilst not beachfront, is very, very good.
