The room we were put in smelt very strongly of mould. not just musty I mean really unhealthy mould. Then after a while we realised that the air con was blowing air but not cooling the room but by then it was too late so we had a hot sleepless night. Next morning they allocated us another room which didn't... More

If you are lucky enough to visit one of the most beautiful places on Earth, such as Bali, you will probably spend most of your time outside, sightseeing,so why overpay the hotel, where you will only spend the night. Built in the typical indonesian style,Bumas has 2 swimming poos, very hospitable stuff and its quite quiet, making it perfect if you are looking for a place... More

Had an interesting experience with security guy at his hotel. Being a tourist in a car which hit a local dog in the area which ran into a nearby property , we asked security if we could park in their car park, when we explained what happened regarding the dog, security said no problem. Nice guy. The next day we... More

We stayed here for 1 night as part of our G Adventure Tour. It was basic we had a nice visitor in our room which was quickly gotten rid of. I wouldn't stay there again it was nice once I think but is now neglected and needs investment and the staff could of smiled a bit more.

The hotel has an authentic feel to it. The comfort is basic. The bathroom is a bit run down. There is a decent pool. The breakfast is adequate. I booked it as part of a tour so I'm not sure what the price of a room is.

This was probably once a very nice place to stay as it has all the things need to be a good place but is sadly very neglected. The grounds are overgrown and uncared for. The pools are like diving into an unpleasantly warm bath and there is little shade around them. The rooms were large and spacious, but the walls... More

Had to stay here as a part of a tour. This hotel has the most depressing rooms. The mattress is very uncomfortable. The bathroom is gross. Moldy smell. Water pressure is horrible. Wifi works. The grounds are lush and tropical which is the only good quality of this hotel. Even if your on a budget look elsewhere. The bad reviews... More

The Bumas hotel was our base before starting a G Adventures tour of Bali. I was very impressed with the hotel in terms of suiting a more budget conscious traveller. The rooms were very clean, admittedly the room itself had much better decor than the bathroom but for what we needed (I.e a couple of nights) it was ideal and... More

A beautiful hotel for the middle of the road person. The staff was just phenomenal. The rooms huge. Very cost efficient and a good breakfast too. Bathrooms r huge but dated. Who cares with the beauty of the balcony and surrounding grounds. Oh and yet again. The staff 😊

These rooms were so dirty and dusty, it looked like a ghost house, like no one had stayed here in years and years. Do they ever dust or clean the rooms? I saw many bugs and dead spiders and cobwebs all over the room. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting, with huge bugs everywhere and the shower looked like I'd be... More
