I spent five days here and loved every minute. Guests were from all over the world and we all had an amazing experience. My room was classic Balinese and cosy with a lovely verandah. I sipped the daily complimentary herbal tea overlooking the rice paddy opposite. My bathroom was outdoor but fully private with never ending hot water. The food...

I spent 6 days at a Wellness Retreat being run at Sharing Bali in late August and it was amazing both the retreat and Sharing Bali. The food was so healthy, those banana pancakes for breakfast were to die and the healthy salads and veggies dishes for lunch and dinner so moreish. The surrounds and gardens were very special and...

Following on from a week of releasing pain and fatigue, Sharing Bali was the perfect chance to reenergise. I am a return guest, and found the experience so much better second time around. Still the amazing food nurturance and beautiful setting but made all the better with yoga (the non-pretzel style), ballet (yeh the dance of ballerinas), barre, hiking and...

Arriving at Sharing Bali, the clouds parted ways and the sun shone down on our group of 12 women strong. Karen welcomed us with tea and fruits, and gave us the grand tour of the lush grounds. No crowds, no hassles, no one selling us things we don't need. Just peace and quiet and adjusting to our solace for the...

I have had the privilege to stay at Sharing Bali twice in the past 12 months. The first time as a guest on a retreat, the second time to co-host a retreat. And I have already booked to return for my third retreat in 2017. What keeps me coming back, and bringing others with me? It is the pure simplicity...

I was lucky enough to spend a week at Sharing Bali, on the Soulful Revolution mindful fitness retreat. Nat Stiles did a great job motivating and guiding us with her fitness sessions, HITT and circuit style exercises once or twice a day in the innovative bamboo gym - I definitely felt fitter and more toned by the end of the...

Karen and her team are simply wonderful. This holiday was extraordinary. Walking through beautiful farming land, hiking up to the caldera at 3am, white water rafting, bike riding and yoga every afternoon. A perfect balance. The food was devine and so healthy. Karen goes the extra step and it shows. Fabulous holiday and I would go back tomorrow.

Your self-care begins with you but if you are in need of a little help, take a week out of your work life and reset the clock here. Your week will be spent in this lush retreat property where you are nicely closed off from the busy-ness of our current world. There's no wifi, allowing for a total detox. You'll...
