We stayed at the The Udaya for 5 nights in August 2023 and it was an amazing experience! This felt like a hidden gem in Ubud, because you would not believe it was as expansive as it was from the outside. From the time we arrived, we were greeted warmly with welcome drinks which were very refreshing and unique. We stayed at the Villa Duplex (Gintung), the Pool Villa (Sandat) and the Suite. Our favorite was the Pool Villa (Sandat) which my wife absolutely loved due to the ambiance, the location and the overall feel and look. Safe to say we wanted to spend a few more nights here but due to availability, this was not possible. The Udaya has a great restaurant which offers a variety of meal options and everything that we had on the menu was wonderful. The Afternoon tea was great and their breakfast was quite lovely as well. The Udaya offers hourly tram ride to and from the Ubud Center which is very central to many shopping areas and restaurants and the many many massage parlors. Be prepared, you will be doing a lot of shopping even if you didn’t plan to! I have to mention the amazing concierge team and in particular “Dede” who was our driver and tour guide and an absolutely wonderful down to earth person who really showed us around and helped us to indulge into the local culture by sharing information and introducing us to his favorite foods. He played a big part in ensuring that all of our adventures outside of The Udaya were amazing. We hope to see him again on our next visit to Bali. The Udaya offers a personal touch and privacy to all its guests. The staff were very friendly and helpful and housekeeping did a good job in keeping our rooms clean and tidy. Our stay at the Udaya was lovely, from the welcome drinks on arrival to the pool and room facilities. Being on the outskirts of Ubud centre, there were regular shuttle transfers from the hotel to Ubud centre and back which was really useful if you didn’t have transport. The staff were also lovely. We would definitely recommend.

We stayed at Udaya for the last leg of our honeymoon, having travelled from Java. We wanted a relaxing final stay and the Udaya delivered! We stayed in a villa with private pool. The room was luxury, secluded and quiet. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful throughout our stay. The restaurant food was excellent; the cocktails were delicious and again, the service was spot on. The candlelight dinner was magic on our final night and well worth booking if you cab. We used the spa once for a hot stone massage. Like with everything else at the Udaya, the whole experience was quality. From the welcoming herbal tea to the excellent (firm) massage and friendly service. Could not recommend this place enough for a relaxing break.

The bed gave me the best night sleep I’ve had in a long time! The staff are amazing, the resort is just absolutely STUNNING! The spa is something out of this world. It was the most beautiful resort I’ve ever been so far. You get the feeling as if you are in the middle of a tropical garden with a huge pool. The nature is included everywhere. You can see the attention to details. The employees are very kind, attentive and obliging. They have two huge spots for a yoga session in the morning with a beautiful view and the possibility to book a private candlelight dinner. Our breakfast was very delicious, you have a wide range of food to order and additionally some fruits, bakery and sweets in a buffet. I highly recommend the hotel.

Amazing bathroom and shower with optional amenities such as petals bath bubbles are included. They have and in-house spa. The restaurant has great local and western options. Definitely would come back highly recommend.

Udaya resort is a oasis of calm off a main street leading into the central part of Ubud. A warm welcome greeted us as we arrived, nothing was too much trouble the Udaya team were attentive, kind & generous of spirit. We enjoyed a beautiful SPA experience (I had a love pamper packaged with a lovely Balinese massage by Leni & we also enjoyed a romantic candlelit dinner with Indra as our butler for the evening. Gavin was keen to assist us from our first day & Nenghar shared some information about the temples & customs. The shuttle to Ubud centre was really handy & a great service as we then walked to the sacred monkey forest from our drop off.
