Stayed in a four person bungalow. Lovely daily breakfast. Comfortable lounge area, with some games to play. Friendly staff. Pool was nice. Decent walk (around 20 minutes) into town, around the monkey forest, but you can hire scooters easily. Quiet road. Good yoga classes too, and it's good and bad that not more people went to them!

The staff is super friendly and really looks after your needs. This gem is nestled away from the crowd yet easily accessed from the center of Ubud. A beautiful lush tropical garden surrounds...

In summary - this relatively small hotel/complex of cottages was slightly rustic, but had an authentic feel without being 'basic', great people, excellent food and fantastic value. In more detail - My Wife and I (late 50's) met our Daughter and her Boyfriend (30) in Bali and wanted to book a Hotel in Urbud, not really wanting the standard '5...

A little too dirty for hippie chic, installations a bit rundown, given a duvet instead of bedsheets in a room without AC, not the best lighting for reading, and staff quite unfriendly. The pool was also not very clean and was very chlorinated. (If you do fresh water pool a little dirty can be part of the game.) Excellent restaurant...
