Once you walk into Jiwa Damai you sense a quiet that is quite different from a lot of Bali, making it ideal for practicing yoga, meditation or visiting the organic garden. Don't visit expecting a party scene. There are other places in Bali for that. You can get to them from Jiwa Damai if you want (for example, Ubud is...

This is the 5th year I have been offering this yoga program at Jiwa Damai Organic Retreat. The experience is always magical. From the food, to accommodations to the staff. The land is magic. Away from the hectic, dusty and crowded Ubud the minute one steps into the place, there is a serenity that envelops you. A beautiful place for...

Jiwa Damai's location offers guest a remote, peaceful, and safe stay, here in Bali. There are many options for lodging. Starting with 2 beautiful "tree houses", smaller rooms by the gardens that have only what you need..both these options have bathroom accommodation outside the rooms. And lastly full rooms with bathrooms. All are kept clean. At Jiwa Damai you can...

This place has a special energy. It is like a vortex. Magical things start happening here. And Margret is a big part of that. She puts your wellbeing first and the same with the staff here. Everyone is so helpful, and always smiling. I can only recommend people to visit this beautiful place. Love & Light Kennett

I went there on my own with the aim of finding peace, practicing a little yoga and meditation. It was very transformative. The garden was beautiful and inspiring, and it was great to see permaculture in practice. The food was nutricious and delicious. Jiwa Damai is an inspiring example, helping the communitity, teaching volunteers and travelers. Do not come here...

Like reviewers have mentioned before me, Jiwa Damai was a beautiful and magical place for me. It is alive with life being home to so many beautiful coconut and bamboo trees as well as wildlife such as geckos and frogs. This land offers amazing energy to those who are interested in connecting with the land and surrounding nature. I took...

It was a pleasure organizing a meditation retreat at Jiwa Damai this winter of 2016. Margaret was very organized, welcoming and receptive to all our requests and suggestions. Making the whole process so much easier. The team at Jiwa Damai were so amazing, Cedrick and Bee made us feel at home, and the kitchen fairies worked their magic on every...

Such a beautiful place. You can feel the energy. Staff were so friendly and Margaret who owns the place was a great host. Will miss them all. Even the dogs and geckos. Pool was so refreshing. Many fond memories and shared many laughs. The path that leads to the organic garden is so peaceful and healing powers I can't explain....

I was a volunteer at Jiwa Damai for two months from September - October 2015. Jiwa Damai is a special place that fosters learning, creativity, and inner growth. In addition to working in the garden, teaching English, and promoting Jiwa Damai's internships, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work on my own aquaponics project. I am very...
