Fair warning, this place is not pristine decadent, but it is nice. The rooms are big and the bed's are comfy, but it's a little rough around the edges, for example the shower wasn't great, water went everywhere and build up in the shower, as it wasn't going down the plughole very quickly. You were also very much left to... More

Our Bali trip was definitely one for the books. Staying at sunset hill made it even more memorable. From the first Hello, to the Good-bye, Anita and her team at Sunset hill went out of there way to make sure we had a carefree and relaxing time. The room was beautiful. but i must say the infinity pool overlooking the... More

My friend have booked this hotel in May and we were both so excited and have been waiting to stay at the sunset hill since May! When we got our driver to drive us there... which was around 9ish... we didn't get there for a while from town because it was still all the way up in a hilly area.... More

Beautiful hotel, amazing service, great breakfast and wonderful massage. Ideally located outside of Ubud (which is traffic choked & a bit exhausting), this hotel is an oasis of calm with a beautiful pool & clean large rooms. Felt like we were staying in a private villa! The cocktails are great too.

We stayed 2 nights from 13th Sep. The pool has got a so nice view with the rain forest. The hotel is located a bit far from the main road but it is calm and peaceful and the rice terrace and trekking course are very near. We had the Balinese massage in the hotel and the prices are reasonable and... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Sunset Hill for three nights while visiting Ubud. We had booked the hotel because of the wonderful reviews, but our stay exceeded our expectations. The grounds are absolutely stunning (clearly), but the Trip Advisor pictures of the sleeping rooms so not do them justice! The bungalow we stayed in was lovely, featuring a full... More

Peaceful place with beautiful pool! I and my friend were looking for place with infinity pool. It was really great with reasonable price! Location wise must need taxi service (pretty expensive)/or scooter(cheaper). Pretty clean and people are nice! They provide basic breakfast which is good too! Wifi is not strong but you can connect at lobby as well.

The location is good if you want to relax in a beautiful and quieter area than central Ubud. You will need to catch taxis into town if not confident riding the windy dark streets on motorbikes, but at around 160,000 return it is reasonable to use for dinner in town. The infinity pool is the highlight, overlooking the jungle, and... More

The infinite swimming pool is really amazing. very close to Campuhan ridge walk and Karsa Spa. Friendly staff, especially the bartender. The room is very spacious. The food at the restraunt is average, but the price is under average, I guess. Most of all, you can see the sunset while drinking a bottle of Bintang. I really enjoyed this place... More

Pool area was stunning with absolutely amazing views but we had mixed feelings about the place. Our room was nice enough but a little run down with a slightly broken toilet, sink AND shower, and lots of water damage on the walls. The internet never worked in our room and only sometimes worked in the reception area. Staff were always... More
