A really charming cottage, Balinese style, old, had a kind of magic to it. Too bad they let it fall apart, we really enjoyed it and hope they will reopen it. Beautiful design, nice natural feel to it. Some really nice old stone statues in the overgrown garden.

It's really sad to see the pictures right now, because it make me think how it still could look like... U can't swim in the pool at all. It's green water and plants r taking over the place and the pool itself. The rooms r all right. -the bathroom is old but clean -the owner really nice -the air con... More

if you need a cheap place to stay and dont care about tidiness - feel free to stay. i personally think that the glory of this place faded away a long time ago. we had a cockroach in our bathroom which is a big no-no!

We spent 4 days in this bungalow, everything nice, staff is also really friendly. Good location in the city close to yoga barn, restaurant and supermarket ! We recommend this guesthouse to everybody. The manager wayan is amazing person, always smiling and full of good tip to enjoy ur holiday in Bali.

pros: room was clean enough (although the bathroom kinda stunk at times). price was reasonable for what it gives, esp compared to similar places in the area. wifi very good. cons: service was 6/10. had to ask for my breakfast even after i told them i wanted it at 9. waited quite a while for it. staff also quite pushy... We were recommended to this place by some friends who told us it was a great place to get some of the old charm of Ubud as it was before it got commercial and glitzy. And it was just that. Extremely friendly and sooooo relaxed. Sure it is a little tired around the edges but if you want to soak... More

I stayed in this place twice and I really like it there. The garden is amazing. Some people maybe won't like the back yard with not working swimming pool, but for me it was lovely. You can relax there and watch the sunset behind a rice field. Stuff is really friendly and helpful with smile on their faces. Outdoor shower... More

My wife and I love Dewi Sri Bungalows, but it is important to know that it is no longer the resort it was years ago. There were 20 rooms, now there are 4. The swimming pool and restaurant are no longer viable. There is peeling paint and colorful mold. This is not because the staff doesn't care; they are wonderful... More

I was there with a friend some time ago. The place was really beautiful and clean. We had a room at the second floor of a Bungalow. The surrounding area has some bars and clubs, but the Dewi Sri Bungalows is very quiet. It also has a not-so-deep swimming pool, made more for relaxing than swimming. It was so nice... More
