I will start by saying they have lied about the time it takes to walk to the centre of Ubud ,it is twenty three minutes and not ten as stated (tongue in cheek] The reason I know this is because we walked the road day in and day out and there were no wild dogs chasing us as stated by... More

It is important to say first - the old reviews refer to a time before the new management and are not even close to reflecting the amazing place that it is today.. Arriving in Taman Sakti is truly like stepping into paradise, your own magical, peaceful and stunningly beautiful secret garden! It is hard to describe the exquisite care and... More

Reading some of the reviews, you might think that this place wasn't all it it seems. But let me tell you, it's great. Really great. From what I can tell, it wasn't the best place to stay, perhaps a year or so back. But now it has found a new lease of life under new management. Karen has been there... More

I don't really think this place is worth the cost and I see the prices have gone up significantly. On our first night there we woke up with bugs crawling all over us. We were jet lagged and it was pitch black but I turned the lights on to discover the ceiling fan was shaking termites loose from the ceiling... More

Our friend in Bali is the one who suggested this hotel for us. It certainly is not a big commercial hotel, but more of a private villa, which made you experince living in rural Bali with a view of small ravine, it has a medium swimming pool and a little kiddy pool on the side. We were given the villa... More

Location wise not that good which is 1 km far from the main busiest road. However friendly staff, big & relaxing room, nice pool and environment, and cheap price. What can we hope more? Very satisfied with the whole package. Oh yea, during at night give yourself a time to lean on the pool's chair and seeing thousands of stars... More

This was our first trip to Bali and now we know how lucky we were to stay at Tanam Sakti (which means Magic Garden, and in deed it is). This resort style accommodation has only 8 rooms in 4 two storey stylish buildings. Because of the small number of rooms, it is very peaceful. The grounds are designed with style... More

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The surrounding is very quiet and very peaceful. There are only a few room and not many people staying there. The room is very spacious and we love the large bathtub. there are also cables and complimentary Wi-Fi. This place is quite far from ubud central, about 20 minutes walk. The only downside... More
