No major complaints with the hotel itself but the tired-looking façade and rooms did somewhat dampen our stay. The décor and trimmings were very dated and somewhat dusty. The rooms were old and dim but clean and the bathroom had a dank smell, though not overpowering. The pool was small and basic, and the deck chairs were not very clean...

I stayed here mainly for ease of access to the Yoga Barn, which is just round the corner. However, the hotel itself is very run down, and not a particularly inviting place to spend time. For the money, I think that there are much better places in Ubud.

This hotel was built around 1990 when I was living in Bali. It was beautiful when it first opened, but I don't think the sheets, blankets, bedding, towels ,mattress, television, or anything else has be replaced since then. I just stayed there last week and woke up with such extreme bed bug bites that I had to get medication for them. I...

I was 'landed' at this place by a tour guide and although the price of the room was quoted as $90 I managed to bring them down to $50. As I arrived at ~7pm, I couldn't be bothered to go and find alternative accommodation. The room itself was very nice, big double bed and spacious room and the bathroom was...

I don't understand the negative reviews....this hotel is excellent!! 4-5 star quality at a great price. Huge rooms with huge beds, luxurious Balinese decor (with carved doors), a big balcony to enjoy the property. Pool was nice. Yummy breakfast. Great location right beside "The Yoga Barn" and a short walk to the monkey forest. The staff booked us a car,...

We stayed for 4 nights here in july 2013. Though it is a little in need of greater maintenance ( typical tropical issues ), it is in a good loaction with the city sites in walking distance. It is quiet though with the rooms set back from the street in blocks of four. The staff were very friendly and helpfull, and...

Puri padi would have been very grand when this was built. Despite looking a little tired this hotel had great gardens and clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast good, fantastic service and great price and location. My only complaint was the bed. Old and tired and so springy and soft it made for a terrible sleep. Both single beds in the...

We were very happy with the room condition, good service and cleanliness. You can't tell the room's condition is good from the look outside. For the price in this condition, convenience and friendly service. It's great value! The wifi is quite stable also!! The only thing missing are the little things like looking for cups / glasses in the room...

Stay for a night with family of mine, great location as its still near the Monkey Forest and shopping area. The room was clean and comfy. For what we have paid, its well worth it. Will recommend to friends Thanks Puri Padi for giving me a great catch ups with Sisters and My Little Brother
