This is more a hotel then a resort. Very quiet and peaceful. Almost too quiet! The location is perfect and so are the small extra details they put into their rooms. - turndown service - mosquito coils and candles - toiletries: disposable toothbrush - etc There was a ton of construction going on in the front so that wasn't appealing...

A little oasis on busy Monkey Forest road. Location is perfect - close to restaurants, bars and shops. Despite being so close to the road it has been designed for privacy and quiet. Hardly saw the other guests which is great. Got upgraded on arrival. Good breakfast, wide array of choices - both Western and Balinese. Staff were friendly, helpful...

Located in the Monkey Forest road this hotel is only 10 minutes walking from the main street Jalan Raya in Ubud. The bungalows are spread out in the inner garden, offering a lot of privacy since each one has a gate and a small patio. It's very quiet at night even though the Monkey Forest road is packed with restaurants...

We were here for three nights and would have stayed longer if we'd had the time. The hotel itself was lovely- right on main road of Ubud, but a bit set back so quiet and serene. Our room was simply charming with a private courtyard to sit and have a coffee. The room itself was very clean and large- beautiful...

Rooms are airy and lovely. Location is perfect, and inside the hotel you feel so far away from the motorbikes and mayhem of Ubud. Downsides are that the pool is quite small and very cold. Breakfast is on the skimpy and uninteresting side, but they will provide delivery to your room or veranda complementary. Nice staff. More along the lines...

I spent 1 night with 2 nieces at Barong Resort & Spa Ubud, a boutique resort. It is located at Monkey Forest Street, in the centre of Ubud where many artshops, restaurants and boutiques also located. This is perfect for those who want the atmosphere of a small town. We arrived around 10 am and greeted by the resort manager,...

The room was charming and full of character.. Very tastefully decorated. Love the local furniture. Bathroom is spacious. Staff very attentive. Location is good at the monkey forest end. It's walking distance to the centre of Ubud butt not close enough to have all the touristic your doorstep. I would stay here again.

Very romantic, quiet and intimate villa rooms in middle of busy monkey forest road. The staff were friendly and non intrusive. But breakfast quality was a bit dull and dining table facing the main road. You could have it outside the the rooms if you wanted anyway.
