We were well overdue for a return to my favourite hotel in Bali and my wifes birthday was the perfect excuse. This time we asked Michel and Made to arrange for our airport pickup Arriving at 4pm on Friday of course ensured we had nearly two hours of manic driving to the hotel. However, once we arrived all that was...

what a delight I absolutely loved staying here I only wished I had spent more than 2 nights the owners are just so lovely, friendly and very helpful there were renovations happening ( not a disruption or noisy at all) so I had to go out for dinner not a problem as my gracious hosts had a map and explained...

If you are after some peace, away from Ubud (which is crowded and boisterous) this place is perfect. You can walk to Ubud along small paths ( maybe 20 mins strolling) or get a taxi, but you really will not want to leave the place at all! If you are up for a deep strong therapeutic massage, ask Darsa to...

My daughter and I came here for a long weekend and could not have chosen a better place. We took one of the smaller units on the first floor but it was larger than what we had expected. The room was very clean, well furnished and also had a lovely outdoor Balinese shower. And of course the balcony was a...

Thank you Jasszir for your review. We really do appreciate or guests taking the time to help us by sharing their experience. I would just like to clarify a point about our restaurant. We are open for breakfast and lunch, closing at 3:00 pm. We are making renovations this year to our kitchen and will re-open our restaurant full time...

This is by far the best place I have stayed at in Bali. It feels so relaxing and Michelle the owner and his wife treat you like family. Seating down in my balcony felt like being in the jungle but with the luxuries of for example an outside shower decorated with stones. I strongly recommend getting the 2 hour massage,...

I just got back from spending 7 blissful nights at Taman Rahasia. I originally only booked 4 nights, planning on spending my last three nights in Bali in a different part of the island. However, I was enjoying my time in Ubud and at Taman Rahasia so much that I stayed there the whole time. The property is so lush...

Taman Rahasia translates to Secret Garden; the name couldn't be more appropriate. We spent two nights here after a week in Ubud. The property is a 15 minute walk into town and is located in a small village just outside of Ubud. For us, this was great. Made, Michel, and Darsa were so welcoming and accomodating. We stayed in one...

I was originally planning 2 nights here but it extended to 6 due to the volcanic ash eruption in neighbouring island of Lombok temporarily closing the airport. This was certainly a most fortunate event, as Taman Rahasia is a delightful small hotel, with a comfortable bed, superb bathroom, A1wi fi connection, a rather attractive pool and set in lush grounds....

We spent 3 nights at Taman Rahasia and enjoyed our stay very much. The host, Made, was so lovely and read every wish from our eyes. The room was spacious and clean, but the best was the outdoor bathroom with a beautiful shower made from stone. When we arrived we were served a delicious watermelon juice. During our stay Made...

I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel. It is a really calm en quiet place with a lovely staff who will help you with anything you need. It's a real sanctuary. Only a 20 minute walk to Ubud. We really enjoyed our stay and we would definitely return here again when we visit Bali in the future.
