We were met and transported, first class, from the airport to ferry to Gangga resort. Buy water at airport for the over one hour drive. Go exchange a few dollars for ruppies then go upstairs to buy water. Very reasonable. At Gangga Resort we were greeted at the docks by a singing group of the staff and then we had...

We stayed at Gangga Island Resort & Spa for 10 days in April. The resort was well kept with constant attention by the staff who were all very friendly and happy. Each Bungalow had a private patio with lounge chairs, clean bedding and bathroom was spotless. The staff did a wonderful job of cleaning our room twice a day. Hot...

I've stayed at Gangga Island twice now and have enjoyed each stay very much. The diving is world class.... from Bunaken walls & currents to 'Muck' diving, beautiful coral gardens off Banka Island to the amazing critters of Lembeh Strait. The resort is laid back and open to the environment with nicely laid out bungalows on beautiful tropical planted grounds....

We spent there 3 nights/4 days in this January. I can tell you this is far the best hotel all around Manado (North Sulawesi). The property lies on a beautiful island, 30 min from the port by boat. The island has a white, powder sandy beaches with many many shells, scallops, corals on the coast. You can feel you arrived...

I staid a few days in Gangga Island resort, which was recommended by friends (who, just like me, are not divers). Our experience was very different, and it seems the explanation is that during my stay (there were very few clients) the owners were out of the country, the manager was out of the island, and the whole team was...

Gangga’s a great resort with lovely well-kept bungalows and a great pool area. It's well run with attention to detail that shows they’ve really thought of everything to make your stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible. A gift of home-made jams on Christmas morning was a nice touch. Great spa, good food with wide choices, and very helpful staff...

Gangga Island Spa and diving center is probably the best managed resort that we have ever visited. Our family stayed 10 days at the resort and we we enjoyed outstanding service together with a superb diving education. The varm, professional and personal attitude of the staff and management together with the beautifull surroundings on Gangga Island made this holiday very...

GENERAL This is a small island resort located just off the coast of North Sulawesi. It is about an hour per car from Manado airport and then half an hour per boat. It is an eco friendly resort that succeeds to give back something to the community as well in the form of special projects at schools as employing local...

“Room 9A was fabulous and one of the closest to the beach front (although all area max 50 steps so this is not a big deal). Lower room numbers are closer to amenities and in hindsight this would have been helpful. Forgot something before diving and had to run back to the room could take >10 mins round trip!”

“All on the beach front are the best, the lower the number the closer to the restaurant you are but even the last ones are only a five minute walk to reception, bar and restaurant”
