While we waited our room to be prepared, we tried their "soto padang" (traditional west sumatra meat soup).. the portion were generous, and i should say.. it was so tasty.. Try to have your breakfast in the garden. The combination between morning sunshine, fresh mountain air and the garden itself will bring you a nice sensation as if you are... More

One thing about this hotel is its unbeatable location and majestic exterior and interior design! Most 4 stars resort in Indonesia reflects grandeur and luxury. This Novotel, though situated in downtown is obviously a resort! I must admit that I cannot stop marvel on the beauty of the building. Food is fine. Service is good. Book the Panoramic Suite for... It location perfect. Right in the middle of down town. You can walk to see jam gadang, only five minutes walk. The Room bigger that i expected. Its clean and neat. You also can see mountain from your window. Unfortunately the breakfast quality is just standard. Nothing special.

It is worth a trip to Bukittinggi just to stay at The Hills. The building itself is fascinating. The central building is in the ancient Persian style with a towering dome and rooms around the atrium. The restaurant and the annexes are very much colonial Indian. A strange amalgam but it works.A further contrast is the wonderful pool area which is almost Moroccan.The... More

Super nice location which located at the center of Bukit Tinggi, just a walking distance to trademark of Bukittnggi- Jam Gadang and also Pasar Atas. Breakfast served are in variety choice and also with local special food. Environment for breakfast is really good which just beside the swimming... More

Stay here. it may not be perfect but it has the wonderful ambiance that goes with being a historic, renowned mountain resort hotel. While currently called the Novotel Bukittinggi it was formally The Hills. Novotel have done a wonderful job (apparently) of bringing the level of service, cleanness and food back up to 5 star standards. The pool is clear, cool,... More

Location wise is the best point for this hotel. It is located in the center of BukitTinggi which means everything is just in walking distance. The room itself is good but could be better compare to the rest of the Novotel's Hotels. We took a mountain view room but couldn't get the highest floor for a better mountain view and... More
