Good for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Doesn't deserve 5 stars. The lobby was not equipped with seating, so my wife had to stand, while I was in line during the check-in process. After the check-in process, the queue for the elevator is quite long. When we arrived at the room, only worn bath towels were provided, without face towels or small towels. The officer we called apparently couldn't provide face towels but instead gave us another bath towel which was also worn out. The bed sheet was torn in one part. And it looks like it should be replaced. The room is quite spacious, but minimal seating and tables. There are no bathrobes available, and the water in the bathroom when filling the bathtub looks greenish. Breakfast was also very unimpressive. Not even worthy of 4 stars.

Cambridge hotel staff made our 2 weeks stay as pleasant as possible. The location for us been absolutely perfect as it is at the heart of Medan and our office situated at the same centre. The bed and the room been clean and comfortable with great views to the city and mountains. As we arrived we met the restaurant manager and the head chef, explained what we prefer to eat, lots of fresh vegetables salads, avocado, olive oil, fresh multi grains bread, fresh squeezed orange juice, etc... Well, every breakfast been a celebration. The only comment we have is that the hotel needing a bit of TLC, refreshing.

Room was spacious and clean. The service was excellent. Breakfast wasn't bad. Quite a good variety of food though I wish they've had refilled the emptied food more quickly. Not a big deal though. Can't beat the location. It's nice and convenient to be connected to a mall too.

The hotel had grand piano in lobby lounge. But guest are not allowed to play. Its ridiculous the grand piano just for decoration display. In other similar hotel , guests are free to play the piano. Food :average, less variants. Room :OK. Cleanliness : Very Good.

Dirty and Smelly Hotel !!!
The smell was like someone peeing around the room or the toilet was broken. We checked the toilet and found out the door was also broken. We thought the smell would be gone after we came back from dinner, but it was still and even more strong!
We asked the receptionist to change the room but she was not that willing to do. Finally she allowed us to change to another room, but that room was also smelly because someone smoked before left.
There are more places to choose from in the Medan area.
