Our first room had many cockroaches then in the second, which we took, we found a cockroach when we were in bed. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. However, after being in the jungle for so long we were happy to have a TV and air con so our one night passed easily. Wouldn't rate the breakfast either. Staff tried to help us but I think over-charged for the airport transport.

After 4 attempts at taking us to our room... (the first was two single beds when we had booked a double, the second room they gave us had dirty towels and linen in it, the third again two single beds, then the fourth.... dirty looking linen but we took it because we were exhausted and just wanted to sleep!)
Shower was blocked so it flooded the whole bathroom. Went and asked for more toilet paper at reception (as we were only given a roll which had 1/4 left on it), at first the person at reception ignored me, then when I asked for toilet paper he said we couldn't have anymore, then an older gentleman (I assume a manager) came out and told the man at reception to get me the toilet paper which he then did.
We had also asked them to book a taxi to the airport for us when we checked in for the following morning. When we checked in the morning, nothing was booked the guy said he would call the taxi now.... hmmmm. Then the older gentleman took over and arranged a taxi for us which arrive 25 mins later. It didn't quite add up for central medan where taxis are everywhere... we think he might have booked with someone he knows rather than booking us the quickest taxi.

Anyway... perhaps we had a bit of bad luck? But we definitely wouldn't stay here again even for a one night stopover.

I was originally booked into this hotel for three nights but I quickly decided to change the hotel after having some unpleasant experience in the room including getting brown water out of the tab in the sink in the bathroom, seeing cockroaches in the room, and seeing brownish towels. My room had a window but it was a fake window, so the room was basically dark. The room was also not very clean and it made me wonder if the room/bathroom was ever cleaned. Probably due to local water, everything (towel, bedsheets, bed cover, etc) was brownish. Water was also leaking from the shower and the water was never hot but only slightly warm. The staff at the reception was friendly and willing to help but it was difficult to communicate as they did not speak English.

The hotel provided breakfast but I could not find anything that I felt like eating. Basically they had whtie toast, white rice, and fried chicken. The hotel also provided free wifi.

Will surely not stay here even if I come back to Medan in the future.

Been there for two nights before traveling to other destinations like Aceh and Lake Toba. Location is perfect for leaving the next day to Toba Island by taxi, rooms are clean and nice, staff is most helpfull I ever met in my trips. They are kind and polite and will try to help you in any situation. Still need to thank them for helping as find an ATM, and a means of transportation for lake Toba. And must thank them for praying for us when we tried to leave on a motorcycle. I strongly recommend this hotel when you need to stop in Medan before going to other destinations in Sumatra.

The staff of this hotel knew how to take care of customers well. They made us( my husband and I) feel like home from the day one to the day we left except they did all the work. We had wonderful dinner filled with music( live band) and danced under the stars. We went to fish market ( no picking out the fresh fish) and back for the cooking class. We had fantastic lunch of our own food and served by the chef. We made our own perfume and the staff is very fun and helpful. We will come back and visit the bar on the cliff.

Been staying there for couple of days. the price is reasonable. the services was fine. They should use the carpet at the corridor to reduce the noises of people talking and walking on it. the breakfast is improved. Highly recommended for a business trip.

After Long flight from Jakarta and found the confortable and quite location hotel at the middle of Medan city.

Arrive at the hotel the guard very helful to opening door entrance of the hotel lobby, reception desk look very cosy and confortable lobby, small room but very homey all there like your home,
staffs very friendly and helful.

The ladys at the reception will call your name every time your pass the lobby, and asking who was the room, sleep whell and anything for her to know how to improve their hotel.

We are very happy with the breakfast menu, every morning the sumatran food welcoming your day for your brakfast, havy and tasty food, their provide also bread and fruit salad too.

when I booked rooms at this hotel it wasn't finished yet. the fourth floor is still in development, the lift (elevator) is not working, and the cafe only open for breakfast. The most unpleasant thing was, because of no (not yet maybe?) carpeting on the floor, at night i always distracted by people steps on the corridor, and when they talked i could almost heard everything because the sound were spread through the wall, maybe because of lacked of insulation.
The breakfast was poor. But at least I can still appreciated a good bed and the clean environment.

They have karaoke on almost every night on the roof top and its extremely loud. Worst thing is sometime its only for staff. Never seen anything like it.

Staff are not helpful either they say yes but never offer solutions. Water is brown atleast every second day.
