Grand Angkasa has apparently rebranded into Grand Mercure Maha Cipta Medan. I was given the new rennovated room. I liked it. Room is spacious, very comfortable bed and with good lighting too. This is my first time stay in Grand Angkasa Medan [Grand Mercure]. Everything is good. Room is quite big , nice and clean. Services are perfect. The cleaning staff (Ismail and his partner Agata) are very friendly and really helpfull. I will stay here again next visit to Medan. Thank u Grand Mercure.

Despite of unresponsive front desk during my check in, the room boy (Ismail) is very care to makes me comfort to stay. He kept my room clean and he makes flower towel. Beauty one. Thanks bro! The place of this hotel is just fine and near to the mini market and lots of food street vendors available since 7 AM....

Nicely 5 stars hotel in a middle town. Great professional staff both of service excelent such as in suite room, spa, executive lounge, breakfast, spa, gym, etc. It's recommended rest and relaxing hotel in town.

Internet connection was fairly unstable in the hotel rooms. I was not able to download my emails via the in room internet connection, and messages did not get through my mobile phone most of the time.

We booked non-smoking rooms but when we arrived, the reception told us that only the twins are available as non-smoking and we needed 5 rooms.
