I didn't choose wrongly, as an Accor Platinum and Diamond member, this is one of the most comfortable Mercures I have ever stayed in, Starting from the front office, everyone is super friendly, with the leader, Mr. Yusuf, who is a solution and very friendly, And there is also Mrs. Dewi who is very helpful in everything and also provides service that is not 1/2 1/2, it's really impossible for me not to stay again, in fact I can stay 15 days a month because it feels so comfortable and like at home,

Unfortunately, we've had several issues since checking in : we had two rooms. The first room , when we turned on the shower, the water ran murky for 10 seconds before it was clean. The second room : the shower was simply inoperable due to a broken feature so we had to request another room, Then, we went to the restaurant where the food was not very appetizing and we essentially had to ask for everything which should have been provided : napkins, clean silverware, second glass to drink from, salt and pepper and so on. The staff is very friendly as always in Sumatra but the customer experience is not what we would expect from an Accor brand. We won't come back

Nice classic hotel. I would give it 4 stars. Spacious room. Room cleaning every day. Delicious breakfasts by the pool. As for food, most dishes are designed for Asians. For Europeans the menu is quite small. The food in the restaurant is very tasty. There is room service. The room shows flaws from time to time. Mold in the bathroom, tired renovation. The socket in the bathroom does not work. For a family of 3 people they only provided 2 large towels and 1 small one. Every day at 5 am they start singing in the mosque. It's simply unbearable. It was impossible to sleep because the aluminum windows let all sounds through.

So far so good for service and room. Amenities were also replaced and added. Good service The food is also good, it tastes fine and not dirty. Had an awesome breakfast throughout our stay. They served varieties of scrumptious dishes. Refilling of dishes was done on time. Mostly asian dishes with some varieties of western flavours. One of the best we had in Medan. Definitely we will comeback to Grand Mercure. Both the stay and food are excellent.

I don't think the hotel has that service but I do know a guy my friends have used who has a transportation service. Do you want me to find out how much?
I suggest you to reserve room 921 (better suite), 927 (honeymoon suite with jacuzzi) and room 1105 (great suite completely with sink, bed room, living room, bathtub and etc, that's my favourite suite room. I've been stay 10 night at that room feel cozy with warmly gentle services from professional staff. Thanks to M. Gani, Windy, Yolanda, Indiani (Front office/Reception Staff/Executive Lounge), Tony (House Keeping), and many staff that's i cant remember they're names to help me anything i needed was i stay in this nicely hotel, I feel lovely warm about they're services excellent to me from the first i'm checkin at room 921 then changes to room 1105 until checkout.
