This ancient Ottoman officers barracks keeps his ancient "cachet" with nice big rooms, all comfortably equipped with all what a modern traveler needs. Nice dining room that was the ancient officers horse stalls. Very friendly and helpful managers that even keep their parking free for their guests.

We had a wonderful stay at the Akkotel, which is part of the old city structure. The room was very comfortable and the location cannot be beat. We were just minutes from the market and Turkish Bazaar, and a short walk from the Crusader Fortress. The hotel provides free parking even though they are located next to the old city....

This hotel is simply amazing. 200 year old building restored with an artist's loving touch. Room was very spacious, very clean. Staff was kind, helpful, and gracious. Breakfast was excellent. Walking distance to everything. Free parking. Would definitely stay here again. As far as night life in this area, most things shut down at dusk and became very quiet. We...

We stayed here late Feb 2017. This is quite a nice hotel. Lovely greeting by management and rooms are large and spacious. It's in keeping with the historic crusade theme that dominates the town and its infrastructure. Everything worked in the room. Bed was comfortable. This place is nice and central and easy access to markets. It's not your standard...

A renovated courthouse near the market and old city will give you e true sense of authenticity which is AKKO. We stayed at the suite, so the room was comfortably sized . The manger was friendly both at booking and at the hotel. I will definitely recommend the hotel for an Akko visit!

Akkotel is supposedly built into the old city wall, so you definitely get the vibe of the historic district, but in a much more serene atmosphere. You can get a good night's sleep in your quiet room, at least until 5 am when you get woken up by the call to prayer from the nearby mosque. They have a lovely...
