We stayed one night with our kids - ages 4 and 1.5 - and it was perfect. They loved the goats, the hammocks, and the bunkbed in the room. The food was wonderful. Everything was very laid back. The fire pit at night, the stargazing, the camel rides. It made traveling with kids a pleasure. By accident we left my... More

We stayed at the private rooms, it was really good vacation. Clean room, facilities for fire and cooking are available and ready for use. The quite of the desert is priceless. The staff were very kind and helpful, took care for all our needs, highly recommended.

We were there as part of a large family & friends group of 150 people celebrating a batmitzva. Kfar Hanokdim is a Bedouin experience in the middle of a red desert in southern Israel. Its stunning, well run, unique and well placed for Dead Sea and Masada. Accommodation varies from huge tents to family tents, to chalets. We have 2... More

Second time in Israel for my husband & me & first time for friends. Wanted to have them ride camels. This was different than our last camel place. This was more authentic, camel ride so much longer, dinner & breakfast good & plentiful, place really impressive. Loved meeting Mohammed(I think that was his name) & hearing about the Bedouin culture.... More

This spacious oasis in the Judean desert, between the city of Arad and Massada can accommodate hundreds of people, with easy access by car, but feels private and secluded. The atmosphere is calm and quiet. Families and groups have common spaces to gather together. The place is decorated creatively by the local Bedouines, who also service the place very efficiently... My husband had doubts when I told him I'd booked camel rides and dinner at a Bedouin village. As we were driving the desolate road there (the same road that approaches the back side of Masada) he kept asking if the place was one camel, one donkey and an old Bedouin couple. Far from it! Charming, well planned amenities accompanied... More

I wish we could stay more than one night. such beautiful place and warm people. Camel ride, meals, activities are really interesting and its a really nice experience to get to know the bedouin culture. And the tent are is also well organised.

A Bedouin village for the whole family. Camel rides, Masada close by, wonderful food and friendly personnel. Accommodations simple but clean and air conditioned. We all had a fantastic desert treat. I will definitely return to this desert holiday.

This is a commercialized bedouin camp. It gives you something of the experience but, of course, it is designed for tourists. So it has some facilities you would never find in a real bedouin camp. There actually is a tourist shop to buy stuff you really don't need. There are camel rides and donkeys and a petting place for goats.... More

We wanted to experience life in the desert and decided to try Kfar Hanokdim. The experience was well worth it! The staff (Erez and Gal) was very friendly and helpful and the accommodation was more than adequate. We initially booked a tent, but upon arrival we were offered the option of a room, as the camp was fairly quiet. Looking... More
