We were staying in Ein Gedi Hotel for my birthday. If you want to have a nice and high quality room, you should choose the higher-priced ones. Otherwise the rooms are small and not comfy. We took the superior room and had a nice balcony with a view. We enjoyed the Spa very much! And we liked the fact that...

We travelled around Israel by bus. Check the Egged bus service web site to ensure the bus you plan to catch does stop at the Hotel (or the Kibbutz which is just up the hill) otherwise you must walk from the main road up to the hotel which is not difficult if you have luggage which is easy to carry....

To put it plain and simple: this is a perfect hotel, exactly where you want to be if you love nature, excellent service and great food and facilities. The indoor pools and bath/sauna which are free are a big plus. The views around it are simply amazing and breathtaking. Would come again.

Fabulous location although there is no view of the Dead Sea -- the beautiful flora and fauna makes up for it if you know what to expect. Check in was easy and friendly and the staff made sure we had plenty of details, such as time breakfast is service, without any prompting. The room was lovely and included an electric...

Hello, we had a nice room midst a beautiful room. The breakfirst and the lunch buffet are really good. The possibilities in the Kibbuz ( SPA, swimming pool ) and at the 3 km near Dead Sea ( free shuttle every hour and free entry into the SPA ) are really nice. Regards, Harald.

We went for 2 days and 1 night in the ein gedi hotel. We payed 950 shekels for a simple room and 1350 shekels for a regular room with 2kids. The price is not adequate for what you get. The bathroom is fulfilled with fungus completely insalubrious. The staff was rude the food in the baobar café is disgusting served...

Hotel next to/within a Kibbutz in the Negev Desert directly above the Dead Sea (and close to Masada); rooms (in the new part of the hotel complex) are light with an elegant interior and great views (in)to the desert; great breakfast (included) and a good evening buffet-style dinner (for a flat fee per person) with the best cakes I have...

I stayed here with small kids....so as you can imagine I didn't expect too much out of this hotel- we just needed to do something during the loooooong holidays.... We stayed at a standard room ( quin size bed for the parens, a sofa that is opening to double bed and a packn' play for the baby...) it was quite...

I write this with much regret since we do love kibbutz Ein Gedi and its surroundings. We had lots of expectations before arrival, also considering the very high price (about 1500/ night during Sukot). The two rooms we got were very tired, outdated, small and nothing like the pictures on the web. The food at breakfast was mediocre at best,...
