This is no offense to the Proprietors, but I had a very unpleasant stay. My initial thoughts upon arriving was that we were not in the center of Safed, and that the property looked more rustic than I had expected for an inn. Granted, there is a rustic charm to the place, but this is much more like a hostel...

My husband and I stayed here - and we had booked a private dorm room, not knowing what to expect. It was perfectly adequate, had twin beds and a small en suite. We were told the other more expensive rooms just had nicer furnishings and a bigger bathroom. The owners of this lovely inn are wonderful hosts. They offer a...

We stayed here twice in a month, once with our daughter and her fiance, and once with another couple of friends. The value can't be beat. It's a slightly funky, very homey retreat. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the outdoors are charming. with flowers everywhere, and all kinds of outdoor furniture meant for relaxing and spending hours into the...

This was the second time I stayed at the Safed Inn - the first time was in September 2010. Seldomly have I felt so at home when sleeping in a hotel/hostel. The owners are pretty much the warmest people you will ever come across, and you can see that they put their heart into this endeavour. The Safed Inn is...

In april we went to Israel for a renewal with this special country. The last 4 days we spent in The Safed Inn. It was great. Not only is Safed a great place to be (and the way up there gorgious!), but the Inn was superb too. Riki and her husband made us feel very welcome (a dutch flag near...

We stayed at the Safed Inn for 1 night and it was one of the most memorable places we stayed on the trip! Riki and Dov were both incredibly helpful, generous and friendly, and gave us lots of good information about the area. You really feel like you are staying at their home. We made use of the laundry facilities...

Wonderful place to stay! This B and B has it all--friendly and helpful hosts who know how to run a business, privacy (room in separate buildings), comfortable large rooms, hot water!, and a hot tub, sauna, free internet, kitchenette, breakfast. Highly recommended. One of the three best hotels I've stayed at in the world.

Stayed with my husband and 14 year old son in a private room with private bath July 25-28. The rooms are immaculate and comfortable; we used all amenities including the hot tub and dry sauna in the evening (no one under 18 permitted). Beds were firm and comfortable. Believe all the good things folks say in other reviews -- and...

This place is an absolute luxury compared to any other place we stayed in Israel. The price is definitely fair and you owe yourself to pay a little extra for the luxury of a great room, lovely garden, good breakfast and jacuzzi etc... Don't let yourself scare off because of the location a little out of town... This place is...

The Safed Inn is a great little Shangrila in the Israeli mountains (Galil). If you need a base camp to explore the Golan, this is a nice quiet Inn with friendly owners. Rickki and Dov take good care of their guests and offer great advice on what to see and where to eat. Rickki even has a "special" named after...
