If you want to be on budget, this hotel could be for you, rooms are not big and soundproof. The room was clean except the refrigerator that had fungus. It was recently open so the water in pipes was dirty so then, to have clean warm water tooks us 35mins. The pool was clean and medium size. They close the pool at 6pm, but let friends of employees to swim while they took you out from it. The breakfast was not wow... they put lemon in scrambled eggs (I know that trick if yoy want ti preserve old food to next day) so I don't know if they were fresh. Very few options to choose for eat.
I stayed only one night at this hotel, as a stop on a 7-night pilgrimage to Israel and Jordan. I would not have lasted more than one night! I didn't like anything - neither the food, nor the cleanliness of the rooms, nor the staff. I do not recommend it!
We went with a pilgrimage group and stayed 3 nights. It is a short walk from here down to the side of the lake and Tiberias is a good centre for getting around Galilee. The rooms are slightly dated and the internet connection in our room on the 3rd floor was iffy, though it was fine down in the bar and lobby. There is a very wide range of food at both breakfast and dinner and the hotel staff were helpful, including make a room available for us to use for Communion as our group of 55 people. We would very happily stay there again.
I have to say this hotel was below my standards for a few reasons. As I stayed with a group it was booked to be budget friendly. Rooms are old, outdated. Food below par as well. Better to spend a little more and upgrade.
I have a group with 17 rooms and 3/4 of the rooms have cockroaches in the rooms and after changing rooms one had used bandages on the floor. Front desk refused to even give them a free soda at dinner.
I stayed here for 3 nights recently as part of a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. Once you’re inside the hotel it is absolutely fine but you definitely don’t go for the view - my room looked directly on to the bus station which was disappointing. It did the job - a clean bed and good food.
Old property within walking distance from the center of town and the Sea of Galilee. Great location. The staff is pleasant and willing to assist you in any which way. The rooms are spacious but with AC, TV, good beds and full baths. However no amenities except liquid soap in the shower and sink. Lots of pilgrimage groups. No children in sight and in the warm weather, nice swimming pool
We stayed here with a group for a pilgrimage. First they didn’t have some of our rooms because they were using an older rooming list but that got sorted out. Then when we did go up to our rooms they were horrible. Each guest from our group had cleanliness issues in the rooms (old sugar leftover on the bottom of the cups, blood stains on sheets, mold in bathrooms, insects in the rooms, hair on the beds, and so much more). We voiced our concerns with management and they moved several rooms for that night and the following night moved us to another hotel which was much better. But why sell your hotel rooms in that condition in the first place?
We stayed here for four nights . First thing we arrived in we saw hair on the bed. Not cleaned at all and terrible smell in the rooms and corridors. I would never ever recommend this to anyone and would never ever stay here again. Just can't believe how this has four stars ??
Stayed here for three nights, it was clean, good choice of good food at breakfast and evening mealtimes and a great position for our group to stay in. We met people from all over the world there too!!
