Returned home Clean room friendly staff, excellent breakfast Terrific massage on Hamam table Free parking, room with a view of the whole of the Sea of Galilee Excellent roof top bar and relaxing area Highly enjoyed our stay Had a walk into town - a bit disappointing
The Rooms and hotel was very nice. Staff was very friendly, nice and accomodating. No complaints! Would highly recommend this hotel in the area. The hotel was newly remodeled about two years old. Great views if facing the kineret.
We had the pleasure of staying at the Sofia in Tiberius for two nights in the beginning of December, it definitely added to the overall experience! The views of the city and the Kinneret were absolutely breathtaking while the service was exemplary! The room was clean, neat, and exactly as was expected from the online images provided! Definitely recommend!
The hotel is beautifully designed. It seems very new. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and beautifully designed. We had a nice view from the side of the building. The service was good and the food was great. We would highly recommend it.
Great small boutique style hotel. New and very clean. Great decor Comfortable bed. Great view. Good food. Lovely rooftop terrace with amazing view. We lead tours in Israel. Definitely the newest as far as rooms were concerned. Only downside not in promenade old city area for waking around at night. Would return.
Reception staff very rude. The prices shown on the spa web does not match the actual prices. The bar on the pool was closed even at 12 o’clock and when asking the reception guy, he yelled on the phone!!!!
Return Ming guest Very nice hotel, with great pool and 24/7 gym Best view of the whole of Sea of Galilee from the roof top with good dairy restaurant situated on the roof top Situated with on walking distance to town and sea shore By good spa with Hamamatsu steam room and good massages
From the moment we arrived the staff of this hotel couldn’t be less interested in our stay. We had three large suitcases and there was a flight of steps down to enter. Door person watched us navigate it without a word (including opening the door). Next up, reception where multiple times through our stay they made a point to be dismissive and rude. One male in particular was flat out awful. The room is average and overpriced. If I’m going to find a positive, the bathroom had been redone and water pressure was lovely. In my opinion, do a day trip from Jerusalem and skip this hotel and city.
It was the second stop on our see the entire country of Israel trip. The hotel was well appointed and comfortable. The service was good and the views of the Kinneret were excellent. However the lighting in the shower was poor and needs to be upgraded…Otherwise a great place to stay if you are in the area.
We stayed several days at the Sofia hotel while on a tour of Israel. After long days out sightseeing, it was so nice to come back somewhere that we felt welcomed. The rooms were very clean and nicely updated, along with the entire hotel. The staff was outstanding! The breakfast buffets and the dinner buffets had amazing food. On the roof top is a wonderful seating area. One night they even had a jazz trio for an evening concert. Definitely a hotel that I would return to, as well as recommend.
