This is a solid 4 star hotel that doesn't try to be anything else. The food is excellent and the staff are helpful and friendly. If you want a quieter stay then have a non kineret (pool) facing room. Next time we want to stay in the area we won't think twice about booking

Room Tip: Avoid kineret rooms, they can be noisy. Balcony is small. But great for drying things

I was afraid of this hotel because it has a pretty low rating, but in truth I don't understand why. The staff was helpful and nice, the room nice, clean, with beautiful views and quite large. The bed is comfortable. Small balcony, but cool for two. Food excellent, for breakfast and dinner. Free entrance to the thermal baths, which are about 5 minutes away. Price for local conditions excellent. We needed to leave one day earlier and everyone was very helpful. I can only recommend.

The hotel is old and needs maintenance ASAP. The are two sections in the hotel- even the newer part seems poor. The staff is not as professional as expected. Breakfast was OK and the holiday dinner was actually fantastic. The next evening dinner was much less.

We have been coming to this hotel under different managements and ownerships for forty years. It is very well placed next to the Sea of Galilee. The food is good and our room was clean and modern. The hotel has a pool but the guests can use the hot springs nearby which also have pools and the Nammos beach on the lake which is across the road although there is a footbridge. The beach is a privately run business which caters to organized groups as well as the hotel guests. The guard at the entrance was very aggressive and prided himself on not letting hotel guests in until they could prove that they were really guests. My wife and I are in our late 60s so we are not used to being questioned in this manner. When he finally found our name (his reading ability was not great) he told us with great pride that he had delayed a family of 10 for 40 minutes until the hotel sent over a new list of guests for the day. I am sure that really added to their holiday experience. This is a criticism of Nammos beach and not the hotel but does affect the hotel guests.

I can say this is my worst experience ever at a hotel. We went their for our first anniversary, but it wasn’t as expected at all. The lobby was dirty and unorganized. The receptionist wasn’t helpful at all. The corridors were super dirt. We even took pictures of everything! The room was fine but not the best. The sheets didn’t feel fresh. The next day we went to the pool to spend the day, it was so dirty and full of hair and plastic straws. The water of the pool felt so oily because of how dirty it is. Most importantly the dining room!! We couldn’t stay there for more than 5 minutes! It smelled like eggs there; dishes weren’t clean, bad smell, bad food. Unfortunately it was the worst experience ever! Me and my spouse both work at big tourism companies in Jerusalem.. we were both shocked!

The hotel is nice. Good access to the sea and the Spa. Very good food. We been on half board and it was plenty and various. At evening a singer gave us good time. What we did not like is maintenance. Our room phone did not operate from day one to checkout. Lousy explanetions why it cannot be repaired. Cleaning of the bathroom was losy and aggrevated by the fact thay it was leakind and we needed to use towels to prevent it from leaking to the room. I mentioned that the room was very small but the view on the Galilee Lake was good

The only good thing I can say about the hotel is that the rooms are clean. The worst is the loud music you have until the middle of night and the hotel’s front desk don’t really care. The lobby is not ventilated so it stinks from perfume. The staff is not friendly and polite but also not rude. I would never return to this hotel.
