Came on for one night to get away and just had a great experience. Super relaxing place with a top of the line restaurant. The rooms are big and the staff is very helpful. We were there in the winter so no pool/beach time but still an overall great experience.
While other hotels in Israel reduced their service after the corona disaster, Galei Kinnereth Updated and improved all its facilities. Our room, on this visit, was the least expensive at the hotel, yet, it was large and comfortable and extremely clean. Extra gifts waited for us in the room and more arrived during our one-night stay. The service at the front desk was delightfully full of smiles on the young clerks' faces and one even recognized us. Our main destination - the 'waterfall" in the spa, was clean, with the right temperature and with a clean supply of towels. At 5 pm we were taught by a second-year student of wineries about local wines while tasting some wine and cheese; surprisingly it was an informative and interesting hour even though I don't drink alcohol. The restaurant for supper had a fun atmosphere with great entertainment by the chef and his crew and later on by a couple of young artists. We were very impressed by the symphony of colours, the explosion of various new tastes and the excellent service by the waitresses. We were delighted to receive that same service again at breakfast, with excellent food at our disposal. A short visit that relaxed us, satisfied us and provided all the special ingredients one needs while away from daily pressure. We'll be back!…
An amazing, luxurious and quality hotel! The hotel staff is kind and helpful in everything. The room is excellent, a comfortable bed and a gorgeous view of the Sea of Galilee. The hotel is amazing in its beauty, quiet (for adults only), well equipped. In the pool and all in the entire outside area there are many places to sit so you can be around the pool and around people or you can always find a quieter corner on the side. In the pool area it is possible to order drinks and food. A very varied and delicious breakfast at the Lotte restaurant. And the highlight in my opinion is the hotel's spa. The highest quality massages, a stunning, quiet and relaxing complex. Huge recommendation for this amazing hotel!
I am in the hotel as I write this review , I leave in Israel now and came with a colleague from the state . This hotel is not cheap so I thought I will be safe taking him here . Big mistake . Yesterday we got here at around 3 and went to pool . No service I was told no servers ,no food they closed the bar food , no one to talk to .they should basically change there name to “No” No coffee was told because of kosher issue but what about black coffee . The ceiling fan in the room is making a clicking sound but without it room very hot A/c can’t handle the heat . Ask to do something but nothing was done . They also have a movement sensor in room so when you are not in the room air condition stops working , the problem with that is that you return to a hot room with a weak air condition and you sweat for an hour in the room till it gets better I just wish I could sleep with a ceiling fan that make clicking noise .…
My wife and I stayed at Galei Kineret for a few days. Even before we arrived, the wonderful and friendly guest relations manager Odelia, whatsapped us to inquire if we would need anything before we arrived. Upon arrival and throughout our stay, there were ice cold drinks and snacks at reception. The lobby is beautiful and very smartly decorated. We had a magnificent suite with complimentary beverages and coffee, as well as a beautiful welcome gift, and a fresh fruit platter in our suite. Our suite had a huge bathroom, as well as an extra powder room. Our suite had magnificent views of Lake Kinneret, as well as a large terrace overlooking the pool. The pool was beautiful, and the pool area was very roomy and had fabulous comfortable lounge chairs. As well, the pool area had a great vibe, and great English music playing all day. We ordered burgers and salad at the pool bar and the food was delicious. A special shout out to our servers Adele and Chen. Breakfast was amazing with special breakfast items created by the chef. Special thanks and a shout out to our wonderful server Dor. Galei Kinneret is a great hotel, and we are looking forward to returning soon.…
This could be a most relaxing spa hotel. Since renovated, no children under the age of 16 are admitted. The first floor rooms are lovely with a nice deck but unusable as they are not private. The pool area is lovely but the music is so loud - we could not sit there. Same with the restaurant- the music was deafening. And why have loud music at breakfast?!? And the breakfast- so dissapointing. The lox is not fresh but frozen. Nuts are sprinkled over everything-so for someone with a nut allergy it was nearly impossible to find anything to eat. Nuts were sprinkled over the cheese platter and other items. The cheese spreads were not labeled so it was difficulty to decipher what they were and the fat content. And how does a hotel not have low fat milk?!? When the manager asked us about our stay and we started to talk about the music- she was disinterested. And how is there no room service at a hotel that claims to be a 5 star resort! The smoking is out of control and we could not escape it. We couldnt eat in the dining room as the music was too loud and couldnt sit outside as there was so much smoking going on! The hotel claims to offer turn down service which was basically fresh towels- I asked for the bed to be straightened. Speaking of beds- during the rennovation the hotel could have invested in better quality mattresses and pillows. Unfortunate that the pool closes at 6 pm in the heat of summer. This hotel has a-lot of potential and they could do better!…
This is a great hotel. It is conveniently located right on the Sea of Galilee, with a private pool and private beach. The restaurant is presided over by Chef Assaf Granit, and it is a first class operation. They serve 3 meals a day, and snacks in between. Really creative and delicious food. The accommodations are terrific - good mattresses, well-appointed rooms, and pleasant and bright surroundings. The hotel also has a spa. Worth every shekel.
This is a fabulous looking hotel. The public areas, pool and the bedroom are stunning. The food in Lotte was great and the staff in the restaurant were great. The staff elsewhere were not however. Service was not good at the pool or the outside bar. The music was too loud at times. One night there was a disco outside which went on late and was very frustrating. It was hard to understand how things worked as you couldn’t eat at the pool, you couldn’t order from the bar and have the food delivered, you couldn’t eat on the terrace outside the restaurant. No-one explained anything and were just rude. I suggest staff provide a guide or a tour on check in. There was also no main bar inside to have a drink pre dinner. Very weird as this is often the hub off any normal hotel. Overall this hotel is overpriced for what it is and should be so much better but just lacks some basics and has poor service levels.…
My husband and I stayed in the hotel for one night. Everything was great- the rooms, the breakfast, the swimming pool, the staff. Just perfect!!!!!! They have a parking place of their own free of charge. In the evening you can eat in the restaurant-it’s Assaf Granit’s place. Wonderful atmosphere, happy and tasty. I highly recommend😀
Amazing hotel with a stunning entrance, hall and room. Also the breakfast is unbelievable. I think that the hotel can arrange every food which one could think about. Very friendly staff, cool and relaxing pool area.
