Overall experience was fantastic, great family themed locale with swimming pool, kids games room and unlimited ice-blocks and drinks. Bar for adults during both day and night. Special thanks to Lina the Barwoman - professional, friendly and highly talented with cocktail making!
Despite having to wait two hours for our room to under go an inspection, it was still filthy and bed covers had balls of dust on them. Bathroom floor was filthy and the drains were clogged. At the salad through, I got pushed away by two aggressive women who would never consider waiting or queuing up politely. They offer free beer and wine but the wine is hideous and the Gold star beer tasted watered down compared to the bottle version. A two star hotel at a 5 star price in desperate need of major renovation.
There is not much to do here, but go to the waterpool and eat. It's quite cold and you need a bathrobe to go to the pool, but there are none left. One day over - no solution has been found. So, or keep eating and drinking, or bring your own from home or choose another place.
It is almost as if the entire staff had undergone deep training on how to be rude - quite the opposite of any service organization in the world. Rude staff, useless, absolutely no desire to assist, scream at guests, disrespectful, unprofessional - I have been traveling worldwide for 20 years, been to 30-40% of the globe, from Kenya to Nigeria to Ethiopia, from Brasil to Colombia and Mexico, from Australia to Singapore, Egypt, UAE, Jordan - doesn't matter where you are, you can find better service and more corteous staff than at Leonardo Club Hotel Tiberias. ADVICE: IF IT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU TO BE TREATED WITH RESPECT, DIGNITY, COURTESY AND PROFESSIONALISM - STAY VERY, VERY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. ITS POORNESS IN CUSTOMER SERVICE CANNOT BE MATCHED EASILY! ABSOLUTELY DESPICABLE, UNNACEPTABLE AND REPUGNANT.…
Your holiday experience starts with looking for parking until they tell you that there is no hotel parking and you have to find the municipal one and pay it along with your stay. Then you find no coffee cups in your room and the bathroom door that closes with a terrible noise. When you ask to fix it, someone comes and tries to do something because you find your room really dirty but with no changes about the door. Generally, it's what you get as a service. There is dirt everywhere; the food doesn't match the hotel level. There is much more to say, but I think you get the point.
I was in the hotel with my family and we go to the evening dinner, and when I started to eat, I feel something hurt and get out and it was broken glass. It was luck that I didn't get to the hospitel. We didn't eat there anymore. Bed experience
The checkin experience was shockingly terrible. To make a long story short, this hotel doesn't care about anything except taking your money. There is no parking in the hotel or anywhere close, and the only parking you can find is for 150 shekels a day. The hotel is ridiculously full, even in pre-covid terms, and in covid terms it is outright scary. People are almost fighting to go into elevators. The food are deliberately slow so that people eat less (and contract covid more). The wifi is a sham and doesn't really work. The pool has more people than water.
This hotel was horrible. The rooms and main areas of the hotel were filthy. The value for the money was totally off. We have stayed in all inclusive resorts all around the world, including Israel and this hotel was way below sub-par. We read reviews online and were excited to take our three kids. It was a huge mistake. The food was very basic and your choices of alcohol were very limited. Going to the restaurant was like the hunger games trying to get to the buffet. It was so bad that we checked out after one night. The only bright star was the staff, especially Anat the manager. We told her how disappointed we were and that we wanted to check out and she was helpful, kind and pleasant. She helped us secure our next 2 nights at U boutique Hotel, which is part of their group and it was amazing. Leonardo Hotel Club is no more than a 3 star resort at best.…
the hotel is below all expectations. very dirty, very badly maintained. hoping for better maintenance and better management. its location is very good. near the promenade. view on the Kinneret. no private beach and no private parking
I've stayed in all-inclusive hotels before; the experience of this one was below average across the board. EXCEPT for the extraordinary kindness and service of staffers Annat and Shimon. THANKS YOU. They saved our check-in experience and Annat kept attentive to our needs, offered tickets for a local hot springs park. She was GREAT. Arrival was enough to make us think about leaving, the front desk was beyond crowded, people yelling, children running, pieces of luggage... Thankfully Annat found us and took us to an office where Shimon checked us in. ALWAYS go to this hotel with previous online reservations through apps and preferably having paid online. Cleanliness is acceptable but lacking in the details, dusty corners, dirty windows behind the drapes in common areas, toilets not perfectly cleaned everyday, a vacuum cleaner was left in front of my room for over 24 hours. The TV is small and has few channels, just a couple in English. We asked for double beds and they just put two single beds together (I understand this is common in hotels but they didn't put the big bed linens and sheets so the beds separated often and you couldn't use them as one) I really thought the lack of a welcome and information brochure was terrible. You come and don't know the times for the pools or the meals. Parking is a problem. They really need a valet parking service and to include parking fees in the cost. Food was very good, abundant and delicious.…
