We traveled with a group of 23 from Ohio USA to Tiberias to help with some work at the Aliyah Return Center. The holiday apartments were clean and comfortable. There were issues you usually don't find in the USA like having to turn on the hot water before you shower and having a wet bath, but that's just local color. There are markets and restaurants within a 5 minute walk, and the staff was polite and helpful. I think everyone was satisfied with their rooms and we were a diverse group of men women and children from 2 1/2 to 70 years old. I would be happy to stay there again
We needed somewhere average to stay for one night , when we where going to see family in the area, with this place that's what we got. Hard to find without GPS, a basic apartment, beds are too soft , no wifi in rooms, big flat screen TV, very large kitchen , but you could not use it as they did not supply anything with the kitchen, apart from empty cupboards, so why bother . Hot water needs to be turned on by a timer but notice by front door in small writing , If you want cheap this is the place to come too, for 3 of us it suited the few hours we stayed there . If you want nice stay elsewhere
Apartment is nice, clean and worth it's money. There is private bathroom inside the apartment, TV, microwave, fridge. Wi-Fi only in reception area. It's located quite far from Old City, but it's only 7 minutes drive. Surprisingly, on Friday evening (Shabbat) everything was closed in Tiberias and our biggest issue was to find a place to eat. So if you are going for the weekend, it's better to book dinner+hotel+breakfast package.
Gilboa is not easy to find, mostly because the sign outside says Arazim! Nice apartments in a residence complex. Large parking lot on the backside. It's recommended to have a car as the apartments are far away from city center. Free entrance to Spa/pool (close to the sea). Once again notice, to get in you are registered under Arazim, not Gilboa.
Very big room with brilliant furnitures. High rise building to ensure you can get thebealtiful view of the Sea of Galilee. Good location. The lift is a bit small and Wifi can only be accessed at public area. The staff is very nice.
