Good for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
We drove down from Camp Humphries and stayed a few days. The city is called both Busan and Pusan. The hotel is on the top floor. The building was easy to find but the hotel is difficult to find in that the entire sky scraper is filled with various businesses. We knew in advance it was on the top floor and took the elevator up. Free parking was included and for the location, the room cost was excellent. The hotel had a magnificent view of the bay. The rooms were very clean and ours faced the bay. Not sure if all rooms had such a view. The bar - restaurant is also on the top floor and there is open air seating (as well as inside) with fresh clean ocean air. We had breakfast in the hotel once but it was not what westerners would expect. No ham n eggs! There were many restaurants and bars in the area downstairs along the massive, beautiful sand beach. We did not have lunch or dinner there. The hotel, beach, city were very clean and the Koreans were very friendly and respectful. Few spoke English but we got by just fine. My regret is that we did not stay longer.

Unfortunately we had to cancel our trip because our flights were suspended due to Coronavirus, but we still wanted to take the time to thank H Avenue for their great customer service in this difficult time. We’ll be booking again as soon as we are able to travel to South Korea again.

Once you find it this is a fabulous hotel! We tried checking in at the sister hotel H sort of next door, but it helped to find this one! The large building you see with the huge H Avenue sign in front of the beach is nearly right .....just continue walking to the Starbucks and go into the building to the lifts. The reception is on the 12th floor (get the even numbered lift!) which is also where the breakfast (complimentary - consisting of a varying selection of Korean style cooked and cold food and tinned fruit/frozen blueberries and also bread for toast ) and bar are situated) . We were given free early check in at 2pm but this might not be the case in high season. Staff were friendly and there is free hour rental of e-scooters! We used them once one morning and it’s fun! You can’t go that far in an hour as they are limited to 12 km/h but it’s fun to have a go! Our standard room 1103 had a corner sea view and the bed was very comfortable and the shower the best on our whole week trip around Korea. It wasn’t the biggest of rooms but fine for two nights. The rooftop bar is fabulous at night with fantastic views of the light show on the Diamond Bridge. We sat outside in November with cosy fleece blankets having our complimentary welcome drink (ask at reception for your voucher if they forget to give it to you- we did!) There was also a 10% discount card in our room which is worth using too. All in all a great stay and we loved Busan!

This place is located at the building right beside starbucks. When you look at the directory at the lift area, its all in Korean. We couldn't find the hotel at first. It is located at level 12. We got a seaview room which is amazing, it feels like you are staying right on top of the clear blue ocean. There are plenty of food around this district, very colourful scenery and very vibrant night life. The hotel is right beside a fish market which you can order your fresh seafood and have it there too. I'm so glad that I changed my haeundae hotel to gwangalli beach. Haeundae is over-rated seriously. This place got a much better night view and charge a much lower price than hotels around haeundae. Food price is ranging from 6000 to 10000 for normal food. Seafood can be over 50,000. Overall, we love our stay here!

Hello. This is H Avenue Hotel Gwangalli branch. I read your review well. I want to tell you that the way to visit our hotel is simpler than somebody thought. Our hotel has Starbucks on the first floor, lobby on the 12th floor. To improve the inconvenience that the directory is in Korean, we have banners that are written in English here and there for you to see well. Our hotel is largely divided into two types: sparkling beach views or night views of the bridge. You have stayed the blue beach view room when you visit this time, so I hope you can try the fantastic bridge view room next time. So I hope to see you again next time. I spent my 49th birthday here. The hotel is in what I call the curve. The long walk from the subway leads straight to the beach, but to reach the hotel you have to go left and follow the curve. It sounds like it's off the beaten path but it's not. There are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops to checkout on the way. The hotel itself is clean and modern yet has loads of charm. My room had a spectacular view of the ocean. The staff was nice, helpful, and spoke decent English. I plan to return.

Beautiful view from my room ‘ highly recommend especially for honey mooners ,staff was efficient and helpful , had a great time touring busan and visited Jagalchi market , Gamcheon-village , songdo beach . Fantastic seafood . Public transport was convenient too

The price is reasonable. Breakfast is included, and we loved the variety of food served. The room is clean. Also include toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, facial wash, toner, soap, shampoo, body wash, conditioner, shaver for men, instant coffee, tea, bottled water. Our room has refrigerator and TV. We booked a room with a bridge view (gwangalli bridge). The hotel is situated along the beach.We enjoyed the the freash air/sea breeze.. We arrived Busan via KTX train from Seoul. The taxi from Busan Station to H avenue hotel cost us KW14,000..
