Stayed here for two nights in July 2016. The price was right, but that's where it ended. The guy at reception (only one we seen the whole time we were there) spoke to us in english, but wasn't very helpful. We asked for some advice on how to get to a temple, and all of a sudden he told us...

We stayed in a 8 bed mixed dorm for 2 nights. Firstly there is absolutely no room for your luggage/backpack in the room. It's either have the main light on or be plunged into complete darkness, no personal lights or anything which is annoying when you have to check out at 11am and there's still people in bed so how...

I stayed at Story Guesthouse for two nights in April 2016 - I had read reviews about it, and was curious about its intriguing name. My experience there lived up to my expectations and I would definitely go back. Pros: 1. Great location - very close to the bus route, metro rail, beach and restaurants. 2. Reasonably priced, with all...

Rainy November, so dead socially, apart from a few Korean families the first night. Prime location for Haeundae Beach, bars, food. Comfortable enough dorms, clean. WiFi fine. Breakfast included. Brutal massage chair. Service a bit patchy at reception. As good as you'll find price-wise in the area.

First of all, All the public areas of the hostel are dark 24/7, so when we arrived there the first night and saw the dim blue lights we weren't exactly sure where we got to... Second thing about the facilities is that you had to go through the whole hostel - including crossing the kitchen and reception - in order...

Great location. You can get the beach in 5mins and room condition was perfect as well. Maybe this guesthouse is the best choice you can choose for money. Especially house atmosphere is friendly cause staffs are so nice and can speak "various" languages.

FABULOUS!!! This hostel was an amazing bargain! prime location near beach, bars, and nightlife. The staff was a little bit under knowledgeable of the area but they did all have drinks with me and friends. Breakfast was an assortment of toast and eggs. The crowd was a bit dead the night I stayed but again I still was able to...

(Stayed in winter 2014) OK – Firstly I want to express my WHOPPING disbelief at how cheap it was to stay in this incredible place. I had skyscraper and ocean views from my dorm room. Like panoramic city views and Haeundae beach. The main kitchen/hang out area set up like a fancy bar (by design, not crowded or alcoholic) and...

It's about a 5-7 minute walk from Haeundae Station. I was in the 8-bedroom dorm, and it was pretty nice and clean, nothing out of the ordinary for a highly-rated guesthouse/hostel. Story Guesthouse's common area was very impressive. It was like a modern bar inside of a guesthouse. The breakfast consisted of your usual toast, jam, butter, but they leave...

The Story Guest House is a great little hostel. I stayed in a private room, no bath. The room was spotlessly clean and super comfortable. Flat screen TV, Aircon, plenty of outlets to recharge phone, ipad, etc. There were a few things I wasn't comfortable with. First and foremost, the hostel is on the 6 and 7th floor of a...
