My first solo trip and I'm glad I choose this guest house. The owner was really nice and I feel welcoming there. The location is also strategic because it near to a few attraction places, restaurant & bus terminal. Highly recommended for those who want to experience living in a traditional Korean house. I will always remember the kindness of...

This guesthouse is very charming with its wooden panel interior and cozy decor. I stayed in the 4 person room with a group of friends, and we all highly enjoyed our stay! Not only is the host very kind and open for conversation, but she is very knowledgeable about places to go, ways to get there, and very easy to...

I loved the really homey feel. The decor and \attention from owner made it seem like the most personal hostel experience I had in South Korea. It seem like staying in someone's home. We got stuck on a bus in Chosok traffic on the way to Gyeongju, and arrived very late. Owner was super understanding and pleasant. She also told...

My friend and I stayed at Homo Nomad for 2 nights during our trip to Gyeongju. It is very nice bed and breakfast place that delivers ultimate value for money. You will be sharing your room with some fellow travelers depending on the room you get. The breakfast was simple and but nice. The guesthouse provides easy access to the...

Homo Nomad Hostel is located very close to the main tourist attractions (Royal Tombs, Cheongsomdae etc), also the busy city centre or bus/train station can be reached with convenient 15min walking. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, they can help with bus schedules to Namsan, Bulguksa and Yangdong and infos on what to see in the city. The hostel has friendly,...

If you are thinking about a very good sleep, this is the place! It is so quiet and comfortable. And the house itself is such a Korean traditional style. Kao is definitely not a "what's up./Check it out" kind of active person, she is quiet too, the info provided whenever you ask is always adequate and exact. I like her...

When we got there the place looked very nice and well designed. We've been charmed by the cool way this place looks like. The owners were not home and Kao left us a nice note. We felt positive about this place. But during evening time when Kao and he husband came back home everything went south for me. Kao is...

The house has a pretty cool lay-out and with the seating areas downstairs it's easy to chat to other people. We stayed in a double room on the ground floor and in the mixed dorm. Both were fine, nothing fancy. The double room can be a bit noisy as it's right next to the area where people will pass by...

Nothing much to say about this guesthouse. The guests are very independent and the owners didn't seem to be around a lot. The location is okay, you could find something more centrally located and maybe even a little cheaper. We had a traditional skype private bedroom and thought it was fine. No lost space in the room and not much...

Homo Nomad has a special laid back feel that some will enjoy and others not. The best thing about it is the location. It is within walking distance of everything you will want to see. The toilets and bath are shared and outside(!) which can be a bit daunting when it is chilly and you need to go at 4...

“There are Korean style rooms (mats) and rooms with normal beds, so ask if you have a preference. THe downstairs double we stayed in had a normal bed, but was probably a bit noisier than upstairs. The dorms have bunkbeds”
MarkManama, 20 Aug 2014 | Read review
“Getting there, the best would be to travel by intercity buses so you have just 10, 15 minutes walk to the guest house and downtown. The downtown train station is further and the main train station is outside of town, so you need a bus or a taxi to reach it. Example a fare between Daegu and Gyeongju is 4900 won.”
