ok place to stay (clean etc), but staff virtually non existant, room rather small and rather ugly, breakfast very basic (one piece of toast with an egg on top and three little pieces of fruit)- not a good choice compared to other homestays or hotels.

We stayed here enroute to Tapei. Quiet country feel. Ensuite. Free bikes and nice to cycle the countryside. 7 Elevens in the local town. We could not ring the homestay but the ticketing girl at the station was kind enough to call for us. Free wifi. Breakfast was fruit, egg bread and coffee. Owner very helpful and lovely to talk...

I found this place (加家民宿 in Chinese) through TripAdvisor and I must say that it provides really good value. We asked for a 2 person room and the owners upgraded us to a bigger, 4 person room at just an additional N300 which works out to total NT1500 per night. They also gave us 10% discount for the second and...

If you are looking for a simple place to unwind, this is it. The homestay is out in the country so you get a feel what Taiwan's country side is like. The couple who own the place were very nice. They recommended a driver for touring the Sanxiantai area. They even took us to the train station at the end...

My husband and I spent 2 nights here, and it rained almost the whole time, but we still had a lovely stay. This was mainly due to the lady who ran the homestay. She was so friendly and helpful. Not only did she pick us up from the station in Yuli and then take us to a noodle cafe to...

Very friendly family, who was always extremely helpful and also drove us to Yuli for free for meals and recommended places. Although there are many buildings with private rooms, this really feels like "home stay". Location is calm and cozy, however very far from Yuli or any locations. So either you need your own transport, or arrange transportation with the...

Together with my wife and three children (aged 14, 13, 10) I enjoyed my stay at Jaja Homestay. We initially booked for 2 nights but added two more. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean. Moreover there is a beautiful garden. If you like to stay at the countryside, I can recommend this place. Our hosts (a nice couple with...

If you want to experience a real homestay in Yuli, i can highly recommend to go to JiaJia B&B. the owners are young couple who are very nice and attentive. The house has nice garden overlooking the mountains. The rooms are spacious, enough for 4 persons and swanky clean. You can move around by bicycle for free. Breakfast is also...
