My mum and I stayed here for 3 nights and the food is so delicious! The smimmingpool is small but clean (for African standerds). The rooms are ok, clean and the bathroom is nice with 'real stones'. We have had a good stay here and the staff is very friendly.

I feel this lodge is a bit too run down for their prices. The shower is hilarious to say the least, the faucet got so hot we had trouble turning it off. The hot-cold combination was more like a murder mystery that needed to be solved, the tv was the size of probably a big tablet and the mosquito nets...

Close to the city, but still quiet enough to feel like a bit of a break. Relax by the pool, enjoy excellent (if sometimes terribly slow) meals, and keep an eye out for monkeys! Recommended as a pre- or post- Kilimanjaro option.

Outpost Lodge is centrally located in Arusha, less than one kilometer from the Clock Tower, along a quiet street. We stayed there for one night before our Camping Safari began. The street was dark in the evening, so we did not venture outside. Our room was well appointed. The skylight allowed sunlight in, which is a nice touch. Running hot...

I spent 2 nights the Outpost Lodge last month before and after a safari. The hotel is located in the middle of a busy town but you would never know it as it is very peaceful and quiet. The rooms are well maintained and clean and the staff are very attentive and helpful. There is no wi-fi in the rooms...

We stayed at the Outpost Lodge on 2 different days in June. The staff is friendly but not smothering. The first time we were in A5, a large room with 2 double beds, and a large bathroom too. It was quiet, although my friend did hear some dogs barking at night, it did not keep her up. Unfortunately, despite following...

The name is programme here. Outpost lodge is outside but in walking distance from the city centre of Arusha and offers a beautiful garden and spotless bungalows. The restaurant delivers a bunch of tasty local, Chinese and Indian dishes. Safaris can be organised from here via agents that come to the place to discuss your wishes. Showers are kind of...

We arrived at Kilimanjaro airport & were transferred to the Outpost lodge by our guide. We had an afternoon & night here before setting off on the Northern safari circuit the next morning. V friendly staff. Rooms basic but clean. Food good & nice little pool to cool off in. I think this place could have been rated 'good' by...
