I believe this was a good place to stay in Arusha. You get the value for the money one room cost. The rooftop bar is the best place to be though :). Indeed, no mosquito nets are available but I am assuming those travelling to East Africa take them anyway with themselves. The staff was absolutely friendly and helped us...

For 9 USD you get a room that is cleaned daily, has fresh sheets, a towel, a fan, good toilet and shower facilities and is located in the centre of town. The wi-fi is intermittent and the food in the restaurant is ok. For both excellent food and wi-fi I recommend 'Taste of Mexico' just 400m down the road. If...

Be aware of the following things: There are no mosquito nets in most of the rooms, though the staff will tell you that it's no problem as there are no mosquitos (which is a lie) and that Malaria in Arusha is nonexistent (also a lie). Just visit a nearby hospital in Arusha and ask the doctors how many Malaria cases...

... we stayed 5 nights and had some negative experiences: - the beds didn't have mosquitos nets (even though they were claiming that there are no mosquitoes we were bitting several times during night), - the waiter was sneezing and blowing his nose while serving the cutlery and food (really disgusting!!), - the guy at the reception didn't have a...

This is what the name implies a backpackers hotel to crash for a night or two, inexpensively, while passing by. With Wi-fi and breakfast included it's a bargain. Bathrooms are shared but decent and clean with soap and towels provided. It's located approx. 8 min walking from the main bus station in Arusha, on a busy road full of life...

This was a nice hostel with friendly staff. They have good openingshours. We came very late at night but still they were open and checked us in. The rooms were really small but the shared bathrooms were very nice and clean. You can also store your bags if you are going to a safari for free which is a good...

This is a very good budget accommodation in the center of Arusha. The special private rooms are tiny so it's not comfortable for long term stay, but for the price they are perfect for a couple of nights. The place is clean and staff professional. The restaurant is expensive, so I didn't try the food, I just went to the...

Small, but clean rooms in a convenient location. Breakfast is basic too. Balcony rooms tend to get noisy in the mornings. They can hook you up with budget safari operators. Place was busy with other travelers if you are looking to team up. If you are a backpacker on a budget, this place works fine.

The rooms were clean but basic, no frills, not ensuite. The bathrooms although clean, could do with some new taps and such. All in all a nice place to stay on a budget. Service is good and safe parking is available.
